Tip to those who have not been before, take a couple fold out chairs so you can get a great seat, even though there are plenty of picnic tables.“

“Went there today and had their samosa chaat and chicken karahi. Have to say the samosa chaat was as authentic as it could get. The sauces were amazing with the samosa. “Listen to me now and hear me later! This legendary spot is one of the best kept secrets of Oklahoma’s old school places to eat and just kinda “be”. I appreciate all things old school and “how they should be”… This little culinary gem is a prime example of that. It’s like a hippy and a Jewish deli owner got married and started a business and you are the beneficiary of sandwich and soup that achieves “excellent” status! If you eat here and don’t try the potato salad you have made a grave error and I am going to have to question your credibility on all things food or food adjacent. Make good choices and eat this potato salad. Eat it slowly. Shed a tear for yourself, because if this is the first time you are eating it….. you have sorely missed out on something special. You deserve it. I had the New York Deli Classic. Pastrami that has attained the level of mana. That’s all you and your kids, family and weird work friends need to know. If you do not try this sandwich, I will come to your home and let your pets go and dump your neighbors’ trash bins into your yard. You have been told. Do something about it. Eat here or else Fido will be loosed on the neighborhood.“

“Cute, cozy locally owned winery with a great selection of dry and sweet wines made in Oklahoma. The owner was working while I visited and had a great chat about wine and college sports, as I was in town for March Madness WBB.
The prices are very reasonable and all the wines were very tasty. They even offer a couple options for half bottles, which was perfect for me as a solo traveler.
Just a 15 minute drive from downtown Norman and a great way to see the countryside.
The winery dog is super sweet and loves attention. The property is spacious, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating options. Highly recommend!“

“This is a cool little spot. It's a bit warm right now but they put in fans and are working on AC upgrades. The food is great. The chicken is some of the best I've ever had. Wasn't wild about the catfish but the rest of the food is amazing. Great portions for the price. Love the drinks and the selection. Definitely worth checking out.“

“Every so often, my husband, Todd and I like to find a place to eat/drink that we've never been to. We look for local spots that look to have a fun and inviting atmosphere. I think we hit the jackpot with The Winston in Norman!! Everything on the menu sounded fantastic, but settled on the shrimp tacos and drunken ceviche, which were off the chart delicious! Our bartenders Jordan, along with Whitney (not Houston) set the tone for one of the best dinner dates we've had. These two, along with Jacie (hostess/ manager)impressed us with the personal touches to our first visit that we will definitely be back for more of our new favorite 😍 ~ Michelle“
