I've been in love with Pinkitzel since they opened in Bricktown many years ago. I have always felt they were worth the price because of how good they are. We moved to Norman, and I needed a dozen cupcakes for the OU game. I hadn't purchased cupcakes in a long while, so I decided to splurge, despite a dozen cupcakes costing $42. I cannot afford $42 cupcakes, to be transparent, but I made a compromise because I knew how excited everyone would be. We each had one cupcake (6 cupcakes), and we all threw ours out because we couldn't eat them. The pumpkin one was greasy. The frosting just slid right off. It was such a strange texture. The cookie butter caramel only tasted like caramel, and the Biscoff cookie on top was super stale, so couldn't eat that. No one liked or finished their cupcakes. I called up there to explain the situation and to ask if there is anything that can be done since they're so expensive and we couldn't eat them. I was told I'd hear back from the manager, but I never did. It's asinine to charge $42 for a dozen cupcakes that no one can eat. I am the one who made the mistake by purchasing at that price, but I wanted other people to know before they splurged.

the people seem nice, but for the past couple months, i continue to come in to look for candy and every time, this location is always out. the candy they do have is completely hard and you can tell it’s been sitting there since the last time i came. it’s really gross and if you get that little business you might as well shut down.

Cupcakes are great. Unfortunately they quit making my favorite ones. I was a little frustrated last time I went in and bought $88.00 worth of cupcakes and tried to pay with a hundred dollar bill. They do not accept hundreds, so I had to leave and go get change....it was ridiculous! Probably won't order another big order again.

Candy was hard as a rock. You couldn't even scoop it up into a bag it was so hard. Cupcakes should have been in a cooler area, as the buttercream icing was sweating off oil. It was absolutely disgusting. Boxes were laying everywhere and you had to maneuver around them. Not impressed and would not recommend.

You go here for the atmosphere NOT quality eats. We paid $160 for a party for 4 people. What we got for the price:
1.)4 cupcakes that were like what you would buy from Target. Mediocre but kids will enjoy them.
2.) 4 chocolate covered strawberries. Nothing gourmet but edible. Very thin coating of chocolate with some sprinkles on top.
3.) 4 French macarons. The texture was correct but the flavors were bland. This was the best item that was served in my opinion.
4.) 4 truffles.... This one upset me. They looked good but we all about broke our teeth trying to bite into them! It's THICK chocolate bark that is filled with cheap goo... texture of hot fudge. For the cost, I was expecting actual truffles. A ganache coated in real chocolate. The quality of ingredients is so, so poor.
5.) 4 bottles of fruity soda served in a plastic "glass" with rock candy. The soda was wonderful.
The room itself was cute for kids. I just couldn't believe we spent $160 on poor quality food (we could have gotten so much better for so much less money at a local gourmet chocolate shop - one small "chocolate" dipped pretzel is $4. One "chocolate" covered Oreo is $4. All below average taste and could have been made better at home).
You pay for the experience. And it's just not worth it. Do not recommend parties.
But, to be fair, if you want to take your kid in to buy overpriced candy in a cute pink store, it would be a good experience. We just happened to have our first at Pinkitzel experience being this party, and we felt absolutely robbed walking out the doors. $160 for a small plate of disappointment and a soda.

We ordered gluten free cupcakes at the last minute. Pinkitzel came to the rescue and met us at Sam's so we could have them fir our granddaughter's first birthday.

Ridiculously priced. I understand over head and turning a profit but this place is insane.
Price is worth the cupcake!
This place was the cutest. And I took several pictures. The candy was so good. I got a bag of mixed gummies and I loved them all. That's all I tried but when I am in Norman again I would like to try a cupcake. They have a variety of things!
Delicious cupcakes
Tried the candy for the first time and it was delicious! Will be going back!
