Not your typical Mexican Restaurant; innovative menu with daily specials; and cocktails that do not break the bank!

A typically wonderful experience on your patio this time of year. My wife and I especially appreciated our server Bridgett as she was very pleasant and engaging to converse with. Discovering Bridgett and I have the same affinity of Mezcal she recommended a special concoction from your bar. Barrios is on our regular rotation and we will always ask for Bridgett to be our server. She was a key part of the overall experience.

This food is not good. The dish looked good, but it had no taste, it was spicy. I have never seen a true Mexican Restaurant have salmon on the menu. They need to decide: Do we want to be a Mexican Restaurant or a fine-dining restaurant?

This place is a MASSIVE rip off!!! Their food taste identical to hospital food and their pricing on their food is way out of this ballpark. AVOID THIS RESTRAUNT AT ALL COST!!!!!!!!!

First time for my wife and I tried Barrios Fine Mexican Diches, and we both enjoyed it completely.
We had the Victory Club nachos and they were very filling & delicious.
Our waitress (Ray) was very nice and attentive as well.
We will definitely be back again.

We visited this restaurant as a family of two adults, three kids, and a stroller, but unfortunately, our experience started off poorly. The host gave us the smallest table, placed at the edge of the building, with very little space and not enough chairs, which made it uncomfortable for our group.

What truly saved the experience was our server. She was absolutely wonderful—kind, attentive, and went above and beyond to make us feel taken care of. Her service was definitely a 10/10.

As for the food, while the presentation was nice, the flavor was lacking. Most dishes needed more seasoning, especially salt, and everything was served lukewarm rather than hot.

Overall, the service from our waitress made the visit better, but the hosting and the quality of the food left much to be desired.

Always unique and great! Three had the fish tacos, which are amazing. Street corn cauliflower with queso and Brussels and sweet potatoes for sides were all amazing. The churro dessert is a must, but we all shared it.

The good news begins with the chips, salsa, and guacamole. Fantastic! My wife's fish tacos were very good, too. However, the Short Rib enchiladas were not good. One enchilada was stuffed entirely of fat. Not acceptable. Then when I told the waiter he weakly shrugged his shoulders. Up until then his service was great! Mixed bag evening.

Barrios in Midtown OKC is a must-visit for anyone who loves bold, authentic Mexican flavors! Every dish is packed with creativity and perfectly balanced—favorites include the Wild Mushroom Tamale and Short Rib Tinga Chalupa. The chips and salsa alone are worth the trip. Add in friendly, attentive service and a great drink menu, and you’ve got a spot that truly delivers. Always a top choice for a memorable meal!
