I don’t know why this is called bbq… the brisket was oven baked and bland. I was looking forward to juicy smoked brisket with a smoke ring… but it was grey and bland. They had sweet baby rays bbq sauce not even homemade bbq sauce. It was terrible.

The food here at champions bbq is very good ! The service is excellent and very clean. During the fair there are many options to try and explore with reasonable prices as well, the brisket slider and pulled pork sliders are very tender with lots of flavor. The bbq sauce has a nice flavor as well. By far one of the best Mac n cheeses and potato salad in Oklahoma. So if you are at the fair, come on in and give it a try!

I thought the food was good. I enjoyed the atmosphere. The only thing holding me back from giving the food and service a higher rating is an incident with my mac and cheese. I discovered a hard plastic piece in my side. I alerted our waiter and showed him the piece. I understand these things happen and wasn't angry. That was until the waiter commented that I had eaten the majority of my dish, which, while true, ignores that I stopped eating it upon the discovery of the foreign object. I don't think it was unreasonable to request to have the dish removed from my bill. I don't carry a spare jagged plastic piece on my travels to plant in my food. Again, this was a good meal and location spoiled by a server who refused to remove the contaminated meal from my bill until he was prodded. It was the only time I've ever asked for a meal to be removed in all of the cities I've eaten in. For shame.

Great food every time.
Over priced and not very good food.
Dish Network on in the lobby can be a little bit difficult
Went to the 2022 state fair and wanted to try The Wookie. It was delicious! It’s big enough for two people if you wanted to give it a try! I recommend it 100%! The staff was also amazing.
Restaurantji Recommends
The Wookiee was 10/10 must try again !
Their Walking Taco is the bomb ? ?.They are very nice also.
Can’t beat the hot chocolate on a day with a high of 27 but extremely expensive for the quality of food. Just drive 1 min to any of the surrounding restaurants of the fair ground for better food.
This is standard fair grounds food cafe. It has the standards of hamburgers, hot dogs, bratwursts, etc. I was able to get a vegetarian burger, but would not recommend one. Mine was crusted around one side (freezer burn?) making for an unusual taste. They did better with the regular hamburger and fries my co-diners had.The cafe was clean and staff quick to provide assistance as needed. I believe the cafe is only open when there is an event on the fairgrounds.
Was too greasy. Was sick all afternoon and night.
