Cheevers generally is a positive experience. The chicken fried steak was excellent as usual. However the short rib was tough and unappealing. Appetizers & dessert bookend strong. No reason to believe it wasn't just a rare night for a dissatisfied entree.
Had Sunday brunch, party of 4. All dishes came out without issue and in a timely manner. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The server was very attentive taking care of us perfectly. Drinks and coffees stayed full.
Celebrated my husband's birthday a few days ago. We were very pleased with the taste, presentation, and overall experience. We had cocktails that were very good and my husband loved his complimentary birthday dessert. We shared his Pecan Ice Cream Ball. Delicious!! As always, the staff was attentive but not intrusive. Cheever's has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants.
