Ordered some biscuits that were pretty good. The chicken was not good at all, got the half bird lunch special…pretty bleh and no flavor punch at all, just some dry chicken. The tendies for the kids was more of the same, dry and no flavor. Fries went untouched cause they weren’t good. Mashed potatoes were ok and the Mac and cheese was ok.Only one bathroom working and it had no toilet paper after waiting on an employee sitting in there for 10 minutes…obviously was hiding and on her phone cause they woulda probably noticed the toilet paper being gone, or maybe just to lazy to get more.Really nice people in here but food was way below mediocre and nothing pops to make us wanna come back.

Food is delicious. The fried chicken is perfectly seasoned and crisp everytime we come here. The cinnamon rolls used to be really good but they have just gone downhill- the last time the outer layer was so hard you couldn’t cut it with a fork.Service is where they get the three stars. I love their food but I would rather not come here just because of the service. Once you sit down it is nearly impossible to get anything you need without getting back in line. Our last visit, they took food out to the huge table behind us while our chicken got cold sitting on the waiting block. We were walking up to get our tray when they grabbed it to take it to the table.Atmosphere is pretty chill. It can get really loud when it is busy but I enjoy the outside seating.

I got the “half bird” and it was strictly just fried chicken with a little parsley sprinkled on top, it desperately was in need of some sort of seasoning. I got a dipping sauce with my meal, but it just felt a little awkward and intended more for tenders. The Mac and cheese was creamy, but I could hardly taste any cheese. The fries however seemed homemade and were great!

Takeout order was not correct: left out an extra chicken order, wrong sauce. We tried to call the number on the order confirmation email, it’s a nonworking number. We sent an email to the address provided on the order confirmation email to communicate the phone number is wrong, but got a bounce back undeliverable email. The chicken had no flavor. Hush puppies were burnt. We honestly don’t care to do anything about it because we would not use a credit if offered. I’m here to warn others.

First time here since it opened. It's a nice restaurant in chisolm creek that's pretty pricey imo. I love a good chicken sandwich but $18 for a sandwich and fries is steep. I enjoyed the half chicken which has great flavor just a bit dry like it had been cooked for a while and sitting. Most of the stars are for the staff, they had great servers and we were served pretty quickly!

Better than any other fast food chicken joint in the city. I came in during a slow period and the fried chicken was cooked perfectly, the oil was clean and tasted fresh. The staff was very polite and energetic compared to Popeyes or gods forbid KFC.

I just had dinner there tonight for the first time. I was killing time before I picked my daughter up and so I sat at the bar. There was no one there because the bar manager was helping in the kitchen, but he came over shortly after I sat down and greeted me. He told me about the specials and told me a few of his favorites when I asked. The food came quickly and was delicious. I got wings and fries and they were both great. Jalen, the bar manager, came back regularly to get me another drink or check on me and I really appreciated that. After that, he somehow talked me into a cinnamon roll because he said they had a little competition going on and he said his was the best. I can say that I haven't tried the other but it would have to be out of this world to beat Jalen's as his was easily one of the best I've had!!! The restaurant was clean, and had multiple games on so that was nice. The location is right in Chisholm creek so there's a lot nearby to do and see. I love finding a new place with great service so I'll definitely be back with the family!

Fifty bucks of disappointment. We visited twice before & loved it, but a year later it's barely the same food. Fried tomatoes were good, but slightly undercooked. My once beloved sticky chicky sammich came out- barely cooked slimy chicken fell in chunks off the bun, I could taste the flour on the soggy breading. The coleslaw was watery and puddled with the chicken juices on my plate. Nice vibe, but expensive for only being able to enjoy the fries- but the truffle fries ARE still really good ? I kinda feel a little ill- hopefully the chicken was more well done than it appeared.The OLD sticky chicky (which I guess is no longer available?) was perfection. A single piece of perfectly crispy, sweet & spicy chicken graced a soft toasted bun & melted in your mouth. The sweet hot pickles & creamy coleslaw topped it off in profile so amazing you didn't mind the juices dripping all over your hands. The dining area sink is also a nice touch ?
