El Coyote New Mexican Bar & Cantina

This is a Sante Fe style restaurant which is very different from the typical Tex Mex spots all over the city. Most of the food is moderately spicy from the hatch chile sauces they use. You can choose from red or green chile sauce or you can get them both. The wagyu fajitas are addicting, some of the best fajitas I have ever had. The green chile burger and fries are both excellent. The desserts are tasty as well.

The margaritas were/are the best in Oklahoma and all surrounding states! Everything was amazing! You find a place that has better drinks and food than El Coyote and I'll give you 200 dollars!

What an incredible find. The atmosphere is so cool. The salsa was fantastic as was everything that we ordered. Next time, I’m taking a big group and sitting on the beautiful patio.

Wonderful dining experience and atmosphere. Their speciality is leveraging New Mexico recipes and bringing them to Oklahoma City suburbs. We'll worth the drive to experience great food.

Outstanding food and service. Corey was our excellent server and recommended the fajitas. They were the best I’ve ever had. We had the steak/chicken/shrimp combo. Even the sauces that came on the side with the fajitas and the chocolate cake were delicious. Can’t wait to go back to try their other dishes.

We love loved this restaurant! Our server Omar was fantastic. We went on Tuesday and it so happened to be taco Tuesday where all the tacos were $2 off! I had Burrio (?) taco, guacamole and chips, and Mexican hot chocolate cake and everything was absolutely delicious. Loved the atmosphere and architecture of this restaurant, makes you feel like you are not in Oklahoma! I will come back to try other items for sure. 5/5!!

The service and the atmosphere were great. We were quickly seated, our orders taken and the food came out quick. The outdoor dining area is wonderful. I appreciate that food allergens were clearly marked on the menu.
The food was just ok. I was pretty disappointed that everything else was so great for really mediocre food.

The food is tasty with the unique New Mexico flavors. The atmosphere is cozy and calm. Highly recommend if you are looking for fresh, spicy food that’s different than Mexican food.

This was our second attempt to eat at this restaurant. It was crowded the first two times. We got on the waiting list electronically, and to our delight, there was no line when we arrived. It appeared the staff was a bit overwhelmed. It took a hot minute to get seated. Then the waitress took her time or she was busy.

Now, we ordered, and the food was excellent. We had a margarita and enchiladas. The spicy cocktail was awesome, and so were the enchiladas. Loved the hominy.

We will come back sometime. The food was excellent. Service--bleh. The physical restaurant was ok. I did like the old rifles on the wall.

This place is amazing went here for my anniversary soo good! Im from New Mexico this place is legit!

Small menu and limited seating inside, where it is beautiful! Great atmosphere, hospitalable wait staff and nice size patio, with a fireplace. The food is good, but perhaps I didn't order the right thing, as I didn't fall in love with it; I ordered the enchiladas. Worth a visit, it was nice to try New Mexican cuisine!
