Golden Palace is a restaurant that offers both Chinese and Vietnamese dishes in a buffet style. The food quality is generally good, and many customers find it appealing and appetizing. The price is around $18 per person, excluding drinks. They provide approximately 15 Vietnamese dishes, which is a main draw for some guests. Many enjoy the buffet and feel it is worth the price.
For those looking for vegetarian options, Golden Palace has a few choices, such as the A-7 and A-11 bean curd (tofu) plates with vegetables and mushrooms. These dishes come with a side of rice, although it's noted that the rice contains egg. The vegetarian options are reasonably priced and filling, making it a good value for those with dietary restrictions.
The service is generally good, although there have been mixed reviews lately. While some customers report exceptional service from friendly staff, others have experienced issues, such as being pressured for tips. The restaurant is still a suitable option for a casual lunch or dinner, especially for those interested in Vietnamese or vegetarian options, as the overall selection and price point may be slightly high for a traditional Chinese buffet.
