Half-Time Sports Grill

This is our favorite place to get fried chicken and fried jalapeños at. I crave their chicken with some hot sauce weekly and those jalapeños because it’s that good. We have never had a bad experience there either. Also you have to try their pizza it’s delicious. They even have good ranch and jalapeño ranch. This place is a hidden gem so make sure you give it a try.

They seemed to be short staffed maybe. Only one person working. Most tables were full. Food was overcooked and hard to eat. Not overly friendly.

This is the classiest establishment tucked away where no one can find it. The waitress was so kind, and helpful.. but the food is a different story. My nachos tasted like wet cardboard. The china they use to serve their food, also top notch Dixie paper plates.

Was told it was the best chicken in town. To the contrary the chicken strips were so over cooked you could not chew them, maybe were already cooked and dropped in the fryer again to serve. One bartender was high as a kite.

Awesome staff, cool environment. Pool tables and tv's everywhere. Outside patio too

I have an affinity for this place, I used to work here years ago. If you haven't been here to taste the chicken, or the fried mushrooms, or the fried pickles, then you are absolutely missing out on the jewel of OKC. If you haven't been here yet get here fast!!

It was a slow day for them. The food is normally really good but not the best today, however, it could totally have been me that was off. I'll still go back for sure! Server was sweet!

FFS - HIRE SOME MORE WAIT STAFF!! This was our second and likely last time here. The fried chicken is to die for. The wait for anything other than fried chicken also feels like you're dying. Ordered a pizza on second visit(tonight). It came out with the other entree but it was made wrong and not what I ordered. She took it back. Waited over 30 minutes and still no pizza. Told them we need to go and to box it up with our check - assured it was coming. 10 mins later and we left with no pizza. Didn't walk our check as there was a gift certificate to cover the one entree and drinks.

This could be a great place but each time we went the happy hour starts with just 1 server to about 20-30 patrons. Gets hopping around 6 so maybe 40 people and 2 servers. Takes forever to get a drink order in or if something was missing from the order. Once it's laid down in front of you, if you don't ask right away for say ranch dressing, it's likely you will be done eating before they come back around.

NOT the girls fault. This is on the owner/management.

Went for birthday dinner on a Sunday late afternoon. Wasn't very busy. The guys played pool. We ordered chicken and burger. Chicken was great and burger was too.
