Great evening & great meal. Very nice server who explained the dishes & from where the ingredients are gathered. The focaccia is sooo good & the crispy hake is such a good find.

Everything on the menu is delicious, I’d recommend getting one of everything and sharing among the table. Great cocktails and friendly staff, a fantastic spot.

Sedalia’s has top-notch food that will challenges the stereotype that there is no fresh seafood in OKC. My tastebuds went on a trip thanks to delicious oysters, scallop crudo, chargrilled squid, and house-made tonics. The dishes look like something off of Chef’s Table on Netflix. The restaurant is teeny tiny - you better get a reservation. But the vibes are great and the size makes for fast service! My only wish was that I had been seated at the chef’s bar per my reservation request, as it would have been especially a treat to get to watch the cooks in action.Vegetarian options: The menu is almost entirely seafood. You’d be hard-pressed to find a fully vegetarian meal here.

I heard Sedalia's was amazing, but I think I expected it to just be a pretty good restaurant. It blew me away. Every course -- from the hommade tonic, to the excellent mignonette/hot sauce, prawns special and salad -- was exceptionally made. Food is tasty, fresh and complex. Service is friendly and knowledgable.

If you want a good place for a date, this is the place. The food was excellent without being too pricey. The menu is limited, but what they serve is delicious. Not a place for those who don't like seafood though.

This is a find! Yes this restaurant is small, yet it is charming inside. The service is friendly and attentive. Yet the real reason to go-is the Food! The food here is wonderful. We had oysters, scallops ceviche, fish stew, fried hake, and crème caramel. Each was great. Treat yourself to amazing Seafood and go

Took my husband for a birthday dinner, we had their two counter seats in the kitchen. We got to meet the owner and visit about the meals we ordered, it was lovely. This was one of the best meals we’ve had on Okc, just top-notch! Wine was excellent, seafood stew was just fantastic with the focaccia to dip it in. All-around a superb meal and experience. Can’t wait to go back.

After all the hype I've heard from my Oklahoma foodie friends, we finally tried it out. The drinks were delicious. The service was great. But the food was all so salty. The oysters were the most expensive, worst oysters I've ever had. All I tasted was salt and pepper. We ordered grilled and they were, but barely. The hake had a nice crust and cooked perfectly but no taste. The focaccia was so salty and so overpriced. My husband and I are both from east coast. I lived and worked oceanfront, so I have a different seafood palette then most Okies. I did not feel like the oysters were fresh, at all. The grilled octopus was pretty good, but, again, so salty. I was up all-night chugging water, and my hands were so puffy the next day. If you have heart disease or kidney disease, you should definitely steer clear of Sedalia's. With such a limited menu, small portions, overpriced and not really fresh seafood, we likely won't be back. So many great restaurants in OKC to try. I'm sorry for the bad review because the servers really were nice and the drinks good, but the food's just not our taste.

The food wasn't bad- it was fresh. There was only one kind of mid oyster and it was served willy nilly. Half the stuff on the menu wasn't available. TINY PLACE. Pretty much sat with the staff and couldn't say anything wouldn't hear. Hilariously small. $85 for 2 ppl- 1 drink each, oily BREAD, and 1/2 dozen oysters. Waiter wasn't even nice

I was looking forward to this place, but it’s short on space and offerings.Beverages:Either water, mocktails, a few pricey standard cocktails, or their signature "seasonal herbs" cocktails that happen to have grapefruit in them (not good for those who take statins). I understand how delicious grapefruit is, but it limits those who take statins to the non-specialty cocktails they have. Also, no soft drinks or other non-alcoholic beverages. I understand the desire to keep things simple, but, as one of the non-Oklahomans in the room, even I thought no tea was weird. The G&T wasn't $14, in my opinion, but, oh well. New place and risky endeavors aren't always rewarding.Food:The focaccia bread itself was nice, with a good crumb, but the cod spread on the crust was a bit *too* salty, making me think they might not rinse/soak the cod long enough when they prep their condiment for the bread. The raw oysters were quite tasty, but don't describe them as "big" if you've never had Gulf oysters or Kühlingsborn-based oysters that are rather large off the Baltic. These were $23 for six small oysters, though they were tasty.Having seen the scallops on the table next, we decided to leave. They were miniscule and, considering Sedalia's rests in OKC, a landlocked city, not worth the money we might have spent on such a remainder of a menu. If you brand yourself a "tapas-style" place, look to Spain and San Sebastián's pintxos-style dining for inspiration regarding menu, drinks, and other offerings.I feel this place is a couple of tweaks/re-toolings from being good, but it's not quite there yet, in my opinion. It's pretty crowded, too.
