Sonora Querida Mexican Sushi & Tacos

Absolutely amazing sushi! Everything tasted incredibly fresh and beautifully prepared. The rolls were full of flavor, perfectly balanced, and presented like art. You can tell the chef really cares about quality and detail.
The atmosphere was relaxing and clean, and the staff were very kind and attentive — they made sure we had everything we needed. The service was fast, and the prices were fair for the quality you get.
I’ll definitely be coming back soon!

I’m from Tulsa, worth the drive, EXCELLENT SERVICE & GREAT FOOD, you have to keep in mind that you might wait for a little bit, but they made their food from scratch. I will definitely highly recommend!!

Esperar la comida más de 30 minutos nunca fue un mesero a decirnos si nesecita vamos algo nos dieron las bebidas y nunca no creció un popote la bebida se enfrió y después de casi 40 minutos fue por fin alguien a darnos un popote y a decirnos que disculpáramos la tardanza que hubo un confusión en las órdenes así que nunca volveremos pésimo servicio después de una hora al fin según nos iban ha servir pésimo pésimo servicio

We enjoyed our meal tonight. Everything was delicious. Service was wonderful. Clean and spacious. We had the sushi tower, Tostada Cachoriada, and a shrimp taco. Everything was excellent. We can’t wait to definitely go back. Very reasonably priced.

The concept of Mexican and Sushi is interesting, and it was good!
All of the portions are pretty large! Ordered a Sushi Tower as an appetizer and we really enjoyed it. I had the OKC sushi and it was huge! Flavors are good. My husband got 3 Birrias and he said the meat was delicious— tender in the middle with food crisp on the outside.
They have this little toppings bar you can add to your plate, which is nice.
The only complaint is the lights. It’s VERY bright, and almost hurts your eyes.
Overall, great food and friendly staff! The price is fair for the amount of food you get.

Super good!! I never wrote a review so fast in my life. The Sonora burger was amazing the bread was fluffy and crispy the burger wasn’t soggy like some burgers I’ve had before 10/10 would go again my mom has been eating there since they had there food truck. AMAZING!!!

We ate here yesterday. ordered 3 tacos, an appetizer, and like 4 sushi rolls. our waiter looked at us crazy. we know why. when he delivered the food there so SOOOOO MUCH! everything we ate was delicious. we will definitely be back. if you haven't tried our Sushi Sonora Querida, then what are you doing with your life?? so so so good!

1st red flag- burnt chips, 2nd red flag long wait time for food to come out. 3rd red flag we ordered tripas tacos and they deep fried them which was not how they are supposed to be cooked. They were literal chicarones (pork rhines) and literal visceral fat attached in clumps. Tripas are supposed to be clean and yes a little hard but not deep fried or chicarron consistency. All the other food was flavorless. And expensive 4.50 a taco. Dont waste your money.

We looked at the menu online and ordered over the phone. The service was great otp and irl, however the prices don’t match online and our bill was about $20 more than expected. The meat was super dry and bland both in the sushi and on the tacos. Don’t really recommend if you don’t have the money to waste on just trying it for kicks.

The food was delicious and very filling. I tried a Sonora Taco (meat, fried shrimp, and beans) that was absolutely amazing, along with an OKC sushi roll that really surprised me with its flavor and freshness.
The place was very clean and the service was excellent attentive and friendly. Definitely a spot I’d recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Sonoran food with a special twist.
