Didn’t know where to leave a review for the Valets so I hope I’m in the right spot! My wife couldn’t brag on Isreal enough when she got home, he’s Valet’d her the past 3 weeks she’s been at the hospital and every-time he has been phenomenal for her. He’s been kind, professional, and made the experience easier for her each visit. She loves the valet service so much now that she doesn’t even want to park herself anymore. :)

I had an appointment for my daughter at the Gastroenterologist, and so her, myself and her Nana stopped in at the cafeteria and Brandon was able to fix up one of the best vegetarian burgers I have ever had. He was knowledgeable, very quick, and just a kind, respectful young man. Norman assisted with our purchase as well, and he was such a patient, pleasant and polite man! They made our experience exceptional!!

It is entirely understandable that doctors are frustrated at times and are completely busy: but medical professionals must treat every patient and family with respect, ditch harmful stereotypes, and ask questions instead of making assumptions. Bias and condescension from doctors are unacceptable, especially when dealing with the vulnerability of a child or the parents in the hospital. I feel high-quality care, free from racial stereotyping, is completely valid. Unfortunately, during my observation it was the total opposite. This review is for the comments made by 2 male doctors the night of Wednesday June 10th, 2026. Everything isn't for everyone. Learn to take a compliment and keep your insults to yourself. On another note, the female doctor and nurses were pleasant have around.

Our son was only 4 days old when he got admitted to the tenth floor because of hypothermia. His body had trouble regulating temperature and we were very upset with his level of care. The nurse had him on a heating incubator and the alarm kept saying baby hot take off baby and no one would help us so we had to go get a nurse and I had just had a c section so we went home at one point to rest for a bit because the dr told us we could and when we got back the nurse hadn’t changed his diaper and he had been sitting in it for a long time and it soaked through his clothes onto the bedding. Some of the employees were nice but I’m hesitant to take my son back here.

If you would like to be cared for by actual doctors I do not recommend this place. Allowing students to operate as if they are certified without supervision is not safe. I also would not recommend Lisha Jacob to anyone. She prescribed me medicine that could cause issues for me and my baby while pregnant. She was always very late and not informative or helpful in answering any questions. Nidhi Desai in labor and delivery was very rude and condescending. She also was not very helpful and had a major attitude. Lisha Jacob and Nidhi Desai should not continue in this particular field of work.

About two months ago, I was in labor and delivery, delivering my baby girl! I wanna give the biggest shout out to my OB Lucy Bates She is beyond amazing. She never judged me always answer my (my stupid) questions. And made sure that I understood everything clearly as a young mom this means so much to me!! The face that she had when she saw my baby was full of joy and that’s the type of doctor that you want to be delivering your baby! The nurse that I had Kerri She will never be forgotten she will forever have a place in my heart! She took the best care of me. We had some scares, but she was able to keep me super calm throughout the entire delivery. I never felt stressed. She never made me feel rushed, in any options or things that I didn’t want or I didn’t want, she listened to me and never judged me. Even the next day after I had my baby, she found the room I was in and came and checked on me making sure I was OK!! This hospital is beyond amazing and the care that they give you and your baby when you’re delivering your baby. I highly recommend it and the food is amazing. I’ve dealt with many hospitals that I cannot stand the food.

While I would rate the emergency room experience to be poor (mainly due to the front triage staff and wait time) the care inside of the hospital once admitted has been absolutely outstanding.

Everyone from the doctors, nurses, techs, housekeeping, etc has been so friendly and helpful. The care my son with pneumonia has received has been outstanding. We spent 5-6 days at the Integris Baptist Children's Hospital before switching to OU and OU absolutely puts them to shame. We will never go back to Integris.

A big thank you to nurses Chris and Tyler on floor 9, they've been super attentive in our care!

We have now visited the Oklahoma Children's Hospital twice to see Pediatric Specialists.

The facility is clean and seems to be nice. The children seemed to be well cared for, in the specialty unit anyways-- or from our experience.

Overall, we have not had a bad experience here. The appointment times to get things scheduled are typically months out but that's just about anywhere. And sometimes on days you see the doctor, it can be a long wait, but then again that too can be expected. I do like how they give out donut hole gift cards for the kids to the Dunkin' Donuts on the 3rd floor atrium.

There's really no where else we can go so we make the most of it here!

Any surgery for your child can be scary. Dr Nicole Wilson did my baby’s surgery yesterday. She had the absolute best bedside manners. She took her time explaining everything and answering questions before and after surgery as well as the day after. My son just loved her from the second we met her at the consult and she took the time to love on him. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with the surgeon my son was given! Thank you SO much Dr Wilson ❤️

These people don’t know left from right. Get some real nurses that know how to read charts at OBED. This is ridiculous and very shameful.

My daughter was seen here last Wednesday. Waiting all day long to even be brought back into the ER . Then once back there we were place on a bed in the hallway and waiting almost another 4 hours to only get told it’s a stomach bug . There is no freaking way a stomach bug causes this much pain. They discharged us and we ended up back at Norman regional the next day for them to tell us she has appendicitis that they had to transfer us back to children’s . We get taken by ambulance and sit in the ER for 7 hr before we are told what is happening. Not only that they told us that Norman regional was wrong and didn’t know what they were talking about and her appendix is fine . There is obviously something wrong and not one single dr , nurse or anyone wanted to do there job and try to help us figure out the problem . Here we are now and still dealing with the same issue after being discharged AGAIN. This place has been nothing but a nightmare and all they know how to do is be dismissive and make you feel like you’re just making crap up.

If anyone ever tells you that you have to go to OU to have something done, especially something as serious as a surgery, because they're the only medical facility who can treat X, drive out of state.

Second rate medical school, third rate hospital.

OU Childrens have been so good to me and my family taking care of all my children from birth to emergencies I would always choose OU Children Hospital.

Parking is terrible got to appointment 1 hour early and could not find a parking spot before appointment.

My son has a club foot and we are often at children's. Phan in orthopedics is AMAZING. Always treats my boy so well. Phan always cleans his leg in-between each cast, let's him choose colors that make him feel comfortable and happy while being in his cast. Phan always answers all my questions with no issues and is always in the best moods. He makes treatments so enjoyable and a wonderful experience.
