I was visiting the outlets and decided to stop by Golden Burrito since it was right across the street. I went through the drive thru. It was my first time, and I immediately noticed that there were no prices posted anywhere — not on the wall, not on the menu, nowhere.

I ordered a pork in green chile burrito with just beans and the stew. The tortilla tasted fresh and the food itself was actually pretty good. Nothing mind-blowing, but solid. The burrito was a normal size — not oversized or anything fancy.

But here’s the catch: they charged me over $8 for one burrito. No drink. No extras. Just the burrito. That’s wild. I get inflation, but no burrito like that should be more than $5, tops.

So heads up — if you stop by, just know that you won’t know what you’re paying until it’s too late. Honestly, I can’t help but wonder if I got overcharged because I didn’t order in Spanish? Not sure. Either way, I won’t be going back.

I love this place. I love to get the street taco plate. They give you enough food to keep you full all day! But seriously, I love the asada on those tacos. You guys are awesome. You also get points every time you go, so at some point ,you can get a free menu item. My new fave place.
