Had a great company. Lunch here. Food was pretty good. The gator tail is phenomenal. You should try some of that. The blackened or the fried.

Awesome!! Love this place! So many options, and the food is always sooo good. Even when they are slammed, the waitstaff do such a good job of checking on you. I had the pecan crusted rainbow trout this time, and it was delicious! Huge serving, but worth stuffing yourself. Do yourself a favor and give Trapper's a shot if you're in the mood for some good seafood, and they also have other choices besides your run of the mill dishes.

Stop Crime

Halloween 2025 we had an incompetent brunette waitress wearing a white t shirt, dark pants. Not in costume like the other cute ones.
She was very insincere and trying to rush us our whole meal. (We saw she left work right after getting our tables tip)

SERVER ASKED WHAT WE WANTED FOR AN ENTEEE 3 TIMES WHILE WE BOTH HAD OUR MENUES STILL OPEN, YES SHE DID. I have been a server in past btw that was a bad sign within the first 10 minutes of us looking at the menu and catching up, conversing.

Let guests greet each other first duh. My date was so excited to see me again he didn’t notice how careless she acted. She brought 2 spoons for the chocolate cake I ordered for myself (she didn’t offer us dessert or coffee after the meal btw we had to ask)
Gave us 2 spoons without asking, as if we were a couple or on our anniversary or something. She didn’t ask just assumed?
We were not! I barely know him. Don’t want to share, ick. And then like a jealous pick me she asks us, while rushing us to finish, interrupting our conversation again (he does most the talking! lol ) is this on one bill or two?”

Hello. You gave us 2 spoons for the chocolate cake I ordered for myself, makes no sense to ask if we want to split the bill. We are not on lunch hour from work duh. It’s Halloween night.
A jealous server who can’t get her own date on Halloween, bitter so you want to get your quick tip from a man who is clearly focused on his date?

He didn’t take his eyes off me sorry not sorry. She failed at ruining other people’s expensive salmon / coconut mojito drink (him) meal. The chef should know how their good cooking and hard work is served. Poorly. I am the one who picked the restaurant as most women do, remember that? Act respectfully to guests, what is wrong with you?
My date got a little hug goodbye and I thanked him for paying. He took the chocolate cake I didn’t finish to his mom lol.
Happy to extend our meal time longer with dessert, since server was trying to rush our nice meal.
Guys the pick me server might offend the woman you desire and you won’t even realize it lol ?( Then you’ll be at the store next door eating pretzels and paying far more. Lol )Trappers is not a cheap restaurant and tips are earned.

Trappers was an absolute gem of a recommendation. The whole place gives off this rugged, wildlife-lodge vibe — you half expect a bear to wander by with a cocktail — but don’t be fooled, this is seriously good food. The oysters were right up there with the best I’ve ever had, and the prime rib… chef’s kiss. The crawfish and shrimp hit that perfect sweet spot between spice and flavor, and the drinks? Total show-stealers. The Bold Fashion and Bourbon Smash both brought their A-game, but the Bold Fashion definitely earned a repeat performance. Molly, our server, was a rock star — friendly, funny, and spot-on with every recommendation. It’s easy to see why this place racks up the rave reviews. I’ll be back, no question.
