Awesome!! Love this place! So many options, and the food is always sooo good. Even when they are slammed, the waitstaff do such a good job of checking on you. I had the pecan crusted rainbow trout this time, and it was delicious! Huge serving, but worth stuffing yourself. Do yourself a favor and give Trapper's a shot if you're in the mood for some good seafood, and they also have other choices besides your run of the mill dishes.
Trappers was an absolute gem of a recommendation. The whole place gives off this rugged, wildlife-lodge vibe — you half expect a bear to wander by with a cocktail — but don’t be fooled, this is seriously good food. The oysters were right up there with the best I’ve ever had, and the prime rib… chef’s kiss. The crawfish and shrimp hit that perfect sweet spot between spice and flavor, and the drinks? my family came in to celebrate a birthday, and it was a lovely dinner! we had the half-n-half gator appetizer, Cajun pasta, Mahi Mahi, okie pontchartrain (catfish), and a baked potato. the food was delicious and the servers did a very nice job and were great to us. my favorite was the pasta, and we had lots to take home!
