Staff had an argument in front of customer tables as we arrived. Took them over 10 mins to greet us once sat and take our drink order. It was 20 minutes to bring chips and salsa. It was a Saturday but not overly busy (no wait). Maybe it was just an off night. Overall it was not that great compared to other visits.

I was expecting little more flavor. Salsa served with tomatoes skin like pieces inside. Did not like it. Drinks ok. Food nothing special. Expensive in my opinion. But, you have to give them the opportunity and see.

It was a nice evening for outside seating. I had the El Dorda tacos with beef. The rice is really good and the braccha beans are excellent 😋. The tacos could have had a bit more spice. It's a very nice restaurant, and the waitstaff was outstanding 👌.

Mia is a beautiful smiling waitress, who was attentive and efficient. Table side guacamole was amazing and our initial margaritas were great. I chose the Cauliflower bowl, it was fixed as I requested and was great. My friend had the onion and cheese enchiladas with red sauce that tasted like straight spaghetti sauce. She ate less than 1/2 of her spagiladas. I also ordered a margarita flight that was advertised as blackberry, mango w/ Tahini and strawberry. They were out of blackberry so a second strawberry was substituted (without asking) and there was no Mango 🥭 or tahini in the 3rd. All 3 of them were soooo tart and strong i requested more watermelon puree to add. The “mango” It tasted like straight lime juice and liqueur. This was our first visit to the restaurant and although my food was okay, it was not special. I likely wont return or recommend.

If you want a good place to eat Mexican food this is the place to go . My boyfriend go there every Friday night for date night the food is great and the waiters are wonderful we always end up on Wade's section and he is the best also ... ifbuli could give this more then 5stars i most definitely would

We waited a couple of years to try this place again and we’re so happy. It is the type of restaurant where you pay for everything so the cost is higher than a typical Tex-Mex or Mexican food restaurant. We have always been huge Abuelo’s fans and miss the level of quality in the food and service and you can find it here. I got the vegan mushroom tacos and my husband got the fried fish tacos. Both were excellent. The beans he got on his side were spicy and delicious. That complementary salsa taste just like the smoked one we used to get at Abuelo’s.

The food is always good, however Server was the catalyst for an insufferable dining experience. Very much ruined the vibe for our dinner.

Alicia (ah-LEE-see-uh) was our server for lunch. She was sincerely friendly and seemed happy! The food was great and we had sooo much left.
