Waiter started off by giving us a dirty plate and proceeded to wipe it off with his finger and sat it on the table like we didn't just watch him do what he did. My drink stayed empty pretty much the whole time. I ordered the chicken fajitas and looked like they cut it up with a dull chopping axe. The chicken was so dry it was hard to eat especially with a empty drink cup. The chips and salsa never got refilled. It wasn't a great experience. Maybe it was just a bad day.

Our server Wade was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu. Some of the very best service I have ever experienced anywhere in OKC.

My happy place! Get the Cadillac margaritas, table side guac & fajitas! Don Julio with Gran Marnier is the only way to have a great margarita.

I'm a motorcoach driver. My out-of-town group wanted to eat here for their dinner.
Although I typically don't try restaurants with a lower rating, I decided to take a chance.
Whelp, this restaurant reminded me why I made this rule for myself. 🤦♀️
ATMOSPHERE: 2⭐️
At first glance, the Hacienda atmosphere was pleasant and inviting. I chose to sit at a booth near the bar. The seats were comfortable and I had a nice view of the bar and activity. The row of lights overhead were off and the table was dimmly lit. Water was all over my table and some type of slippery / greasy liquid was on the floor. Tortilla chips were noticeable under my table, the table next to me, and under the barstools. The bar top was dirty with spilled food and dirty dishes. Nothing was cleared or cleaned during my visit.
SERVICE: 1⭐️
My server (who was the bar tender) wasn't very personable or attentive. I watched as he shuffled around and tended to things... except me.
A different server brought my items.
FOOD: 1 ⭐️
Small Fresca Salad: The salad wasn't very appetizing or pleasing to the eye. The salad greens were very wilted and were heavily tossed with large amounts or dressing.
Roasted Mushrooms: I was suprised to see the mushrooms weren't whole and were chopped. But it made sense once I realised they appeared to be sauteed (no hint of roasted flavor). They were cooked nicely. They would've been pleasant, however they were *extremely* salty. I only took a couple bites of them and I had to stop.
Roasted Cauliflower Bowl: It had a nice variety of ingredients, but it wasn't very flavorful. The avocado was hardly noticeable.
I decided to toss my salty mushrooms into the bowl to try and salvage both items. Meh 🤷♀️
I ordered iced tea. My server failed to check on me, even though I was in his eyesight the entire time. Another server finally checked on me and brought me a refill.
My meal and experience was very dissapointing. I DO NOT recommend 👎 👎

Hot Skillet Theatre” at Uncle Julio’s
I rarely write reviews—especially bad ones—but this dinner earned it. After a long day of shopping, My family and I stopped at Uncle Julio’s hoping for what they advertise as “Fine Mexican Food’.
After our server took our order she must have had something more important to be. Our drink, chips, and salsa refills were non existent, until another server passing by allowed us to have a solo chip & salsa setup because they sawing we were hurting. 45 minutes after ordering, another random server showed up with our meals and auctioned it off to the table. This is where it gets good…..
The fajitas were placed on the table and I immediately noticed they had “died” back in the kitchen long before making it out to our table. My son’s meals were hot and looked good, but the limp and lifeless fajitas were cold to the touch. I proceeded to flag down the manager to come over to our table. I politely requested him to bring us fresh, hot food, if we didn’t have to wait another 45 minutes. Otherwise, I told him we were ok with just dealing with it. He scooped up the lifeless fajita platter and darted off promising to get it out right away. However, he walked off so fast I couldn’t get his attention to tell him he left the shrimp and veggies behind. A few minutes later he returned to ask if we needing anything else while we waited. I pointed out he left the shrimp and what mimicked a form of succotash (the veggies) Again, he darted off to the kitchen.
Now, about two minutes later he arrived with two sizzling platters with one containing the same exact 3 shrimp & succotash he left with—just louder. It was obvious they had been slid off the side plates they were served on originally and slid right onto a sizzling hot skillet. Yep, attempting to pull off “The ole' switch a roo!”
No apology, no check-back, they never brought out our side of beans or rice, I even had to ask for plates TWICE after all of that 🥹 . Dear God help me. Not one dish or glass was picked up the entire meal and totop it off, we were overcharged for an item already included with our son’s kids’ meal.
About $175 bucks later, I left with one clear lesson: if you’re craving fajitas that actually sizzle, or a floor manager who doesn't attempt to insult your intelligence, this isn’t the place. The only heat here came from the reheated lie on the skillet. PS: As for our server. I left a bad tip because when customers tip, it’s called “gratuity” for a reason. There was no attempts to fix anything, nor apologies for anything . She didn’t even attempt the expected “last apology pitch” while delivering the bill. Now, that’s where I normally forgive and forget, tell them it’s ok and not their fault, and leave 20-25%.. To be perfectly honest, l wouldn't have taken the time to write this review, if our server or at least a manager would have done something besides a pathetic performance of “hot skillet theatre”

I have been here a number of times, but this time was especially bad. Didn't get anyone to come check on us at our table for over 20+ mins. Then when I got my giant check I noted that the happy hour deals I read about online didnt apply if you sat down anywhere but the bar according the waiter. It wasnt listed anywhere. Apparently that can't be fixed because the manager doesnt have that ability? Or is there even a manager there because they were never brought around? Arrived at 430PM and left at 642PM once we got our checks redone because the waiter messed up the check.

The service was great but the food is lacking big time. I ordered the steak rice bowl and it was pretty bland. The steak was ok. It was cooked good but had a bad marinade. The bowl needs queso and maybe cilantro. Without it it’s dry and bland. Another girl had the bowl and was disappointed as well. The chocolate globe is great but not worth $35! Will not be going back.
The food was spoiled, so I chose not to eat it. I mentioned this to my waiter, who explained that they're experiencing issues with their food supplier. I requested that it be removed from my bill due to its unpleasant quality. He said he would need to consult with his manager. The manager ended up removing just $21 from the $44 charge for the fajitas for two. I wouldn't recommend spending your money here, as there is a risk of foodborne illness.
