“Traveling through northern Oklahoma from California, after wandering through The Mercantile, I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Charlie's Sweet Shop. The architecture and decor takes you back to the early 20th century, and the vast amount of trays stacked with taffy and candy tempts the most restrained of customers. We were welcomed by the amazing Amelia, who immediately made us feel at home and guided us through the scrumptious pastries and homemade ice cream selections. After much deliberation we chose the strawberry ice cream which had the perfect balance of cream and citrus, not too sweet but definitely decadent. The fresh berries made it truly exceptional. The gluten free double chocolate muffin is also highly recommended - not unlike a lava cake, it's dense and again, just the right amount of sweetness. All in all highly recommended, but once again, it wa Amelia and her colleague who made the visit truly top notch!”

“Carson , the owner, was super cool! Great atmosphere, cool location, but truly great proprietor in Carson. If you are in town, stop here for a drink. Her dog, Trip, was super chill, too!!”

“Our meal was delicious! My husband isn’t usually a fan of breadsticks or that type of thing but a business owner in town recommended the Not Knots so we had to try them. They were incredible! So flaky and flavorful! The homemade ranch to dip them in was awesome. We also had an all meat pizza. Oh my gosh, the pepperoni was thinly sliced and had a bit of a bite to it and the fresh mozzarella was perfect. I’m ready to go back!”

“Stopped after visiting the Tallgrass Prairie Preserve. It is a small place, but everyone was friendly. Good BBQ! I got smoked sausage (yum!) and sliced brisket (good flavor). I also got cowboy beans and cornbread. The cornbread was too dense for me, but to each, his own. Overal, it was a good experience. I will definitely return when I am in town.”

“Good food, good people, good service. Me and my fiancé’s favorite Subway now.
Dietary restrictions: They offered me a salad option when they didn’t have gluten free bread. Very generous with portions.”

“We only ordered iced tea, but it was great. We arrived during happy hour and it was half-price. Can’t beat that. However I don’t know if food would’ve been half price. Only thing that was concerned about was that the trash cans were full and the women’s bathroom was, dirty.”
