Sonic food is generally good for fast food. However, service is what separates one Sonic from another. At the Pawhuska Sonic, I pressed the red button to announce my intention to order. I actually saw a employee look out the service door and see me, to no avail. I waited nearly 10 minutes (I clocked it) and then had to push the red button again and again had to wait 3 more minutes before someone answered to take my order. They were out of popcorn chicken (at 9pm?) and have no Grilled Chicken sandwich offering on the menu, apparently. We assumed Sonic menus were universal. Who doesn't offer a Grilled Chicken sandwich??? Service was quick, though. That's why I rated a 3 instead of a 2.

It doesn't matter what time of day I go to Sonic in Pawhuska, Oklahoma and order a chicken slinger and it is never hot, maybe lukewarm, and it's always way over cooked, as in it is always done, but so hard on the outside that I can't hardly bite it. But, then I can go to any one of the 3 Sonic's that are in Ponca City, Oklahoma like the one I had an hour ago from one of the locations on 14th street and it was so hot and freshly cooked and delicious.
