“Charlie’s Sweet Shop is now above the Mercantile. The ice cream was excellent and well proportioned. There were comfortable spots to sit and games out. I brought 5 kids in alone, 2 of them are1 year olds in a stroller. I could have used some help. I wanted them to take my card after ordering to pay. They told me to go around the corner to the register. The stroller was too big to get through the roped area. I struggled to move them and get by. Two guys were working and didn’t make a move to help. Before we left one of the guys filled my baby bottles with water for our long ride home. He did it with a willing heart. Young kids need to be trained in courtesy and people skills.“
