Food is above average. The queso is good. The chicken is tough. The chips are hard instead of light and crispy. Our waiter spoke too fast and too softly to understand. The music playing was nice, but it was a little loud for the soft spoken waiter. We were able to talk and hear fine amongst ourselves at the table.

Face it, it's just hard to find great Mexican food in Oklahoma! El Jalisco was good not great in taste. Not a ton of flavors, but not bad tasting either. Their jalapeno salsa helped a lot. The other salsa is weak. I had the combo with beef enchilada, taco and tamale. The tamale was pretty good the others bland. My wife had a chicken taco salad and said that the chicken was good and plentiful. Atmosphere is really very good considering it's in such a small town. Service...
