I ordered the large burrito with asada
Classic diner vibe meets authentic! You know it’s great when it’s full of latinos on their lunch break. Tamales were excellent!
Seeing the bar stools was a nice touch.
Very affordable and authentic!! Chips are homeade and the carne asada burritos are the go to!

Tortillería Los Compadres | Mexican is a hidden gem in Ponca City, offering authentic local Mexican food in a classic diner vibe that looks like an old 1950s diner. Everything is really fresh, authentic, and delicious. The large burrito with asada is huge, with homemade carne asada, beans, and rice covered in fantastic cheese sauce, plus fresh shredded lettuce and guacamole. The Asada is full of flavor and tender, with more asada than beans and rice. Breakfast burritos are so good, as are the salsa and guacamole. Tamales are excellent, and the carnitas to steak fajita meat are all good. Rice and homemade tortillas are off the charts. The environment is friendly and peaceful, with old school Mexican music playing. The menudo needed more flavor but is still worth it. Everything on the menu is reasonably priced. This place looks rundown but the food makes it all worth it.
