Los Potrillos Mexican Bar & Grill is a wonderful place for Mexican food. The food is consistently delicious, fresh, and flavorful, and clearly made with care. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. Customers feel comfortable and appreciated from the moment they walk in. The atmosphere is incredible, and the food and service are great. It has become a favorite Mexican restaurant for many. Since the new owner took over, some have eaten here about 15 times with not even one complaint. There are great portions, great prices, and fast and friendly service. It is the best option for Mexican food near Poteau by far. The entrance is kind of weird, in the back of the building, and it would be great to put a different door and some plants and lights to let people know where to enter. They have applied for a liquor license, so will be serving alcohol soon. Takeout was good, and the food was still warm and fantastic by the time customers made it home. The only complaints were that the salsa and queso could have had more flavor, the queso serving size could be bigger, and the prices on the menu were not accurate to the prices charged, as everything was $2-4 more than the menu prices.
