What made this Casey’s stand out today was Michael behind the counter.
The store itself was exactly what you’d expect from a well-run Casey’s. It was clean, bright, and fully stocked with all the usual food and convenience items. Everything was in order, and the overall environment was pleasant, even though there was a terrible rain and hail storm outside. We were escaping that when we came in.
But Michael truly elevated the experience. His kindness, good manners, and genuine warmth were a breath of fresh air. In a world where quick transactions are the norm, he made a simple stop feel welcoming and human.
The rest of the staff were also very nice and professional, which reflects well on the whole team, but Michael is the reason this visit will be remembered.
