“Me and my spouse visited Celayas today, it wasn't busy and our servers were as attentive as they could be given this was our first time in Celayas. The food was perfect and I had plenty of time to choose from the menu as we were not rushed. I had the Jose special, to me it paired so well as a chicken and steak mix with a blend of grilled mushrooms, onions and peppers with cheese sauce over top a bed of Mexican rice. But I was a little disappointed looking at my spouses plate, the shrimp Celaya dinner, just how it was plated, the mexican rice laid flat with too much sauce but really good shrimp on the huge plate and when reading the menu for it we expected a little bit more avocado instead of two slices on top of shredded lettuce when the salad could have been served on the side and the rice it could have been bowled on the plate with the shrimp and a little bit of sauce ladled over the top with the beans on the side but my spouse did like it.We didn't mind the non authentic Mexican feel, it felt like sitting in a diner, but paying for the extra $3.99 charge to use your credit/debit card was really the only thing that really bothered me about coming back. And just wanted to say thank you to the staff for one putting lemons on the sides of our waters, for giving us plenty of time to choose something to eat, and for serving us to the best of your abilities.“
“Ohhh they have the best margs in town. My server was kind and informative on the menu. I like to be able to sit and sip a marg while I study or write. It is a good environment while staying clean. I got the birria tacos with rice and beans. The tacos were okay, nothing special and the rice and beans were good! I did not try out their large margrita because that they is LARGE! Maybe you're brave enough to try it.“
“Great locally-owned family business. We had lunch there while passing through town. I enjoyed a chicken tamale and a fajita chicken soft taco. Salsa was also good. Service was great and friendly. We look forward to stopping next time we’re in town.“
