“Yesterday (3/6/25) was the first time we've eaten here. It was recommended by my husband's coworker. When we arrived, there were several patrons there, but we were seated immediately and our drink order taken soon thereafter. They bring out the typical chips and salsa (salsa was a bit spicy, but flavorful) I ordered a blackberry frozen Margarita and hubby had a modelo. Our drinks were out within 5 minutes! We ordered our food, me ground beef chimichanga with black beans and rice and hubby had the tour of Mexico (one taco, one enchilada, one burrito, and one chicken poblano rellano with rice and beans). We were seated at 7:37pm and we were eating by 7:50! That can be both a good AND a bad thing. It could mean the food is pre-made and microwaved. But it was tasty. Was it the BEST Mexican food I've had? No, but i would come back. The blackberry Margarita was good and fairly priced fir it's size. The portion sizes were big. the food is flavorful and visually appealing. The staff was friendly and the establishment was clean. Again, we would parting here again.”

“I just had the best Coney of my life at 3:36 PM at Deans Coney Island! I grew up on Coney Islander in Tulsa. I love that place! I have tried (over the span of 25 years) hundreds of Coneys. There are 2 that have made the cut Reds in Claremore (he closed up shop to travel) and Deans Coney Island. Perfect experience”

“I'm here from out of town for work and decided to venture out for dinner. I ran across this hidden little gem and instantly got excited. It had been ages since I had the opportunity to have decent Italian.
I walked in and was instantly greeted. The atmosphere was very cozy and there was a live pianist by the door. As I was looking at the menu I was really unsure on how authentic this was going to be. I decided on the pasta Bolognese and tiramisu.
While waiting on my order the owner's wife and staff made me feel very welcome. She sat down and we shared a wonderful conversation.
I get my order and upon taking my first bite my eyes teared up because I was instantly felt I was back in Italy again! I wish I could give this restaurant more than 5 stars

Kid-friendliness: Not quite so kid-friendly”

“I had an absolutely TRANSCENDENT Al pastor quesadilla with onion and cilantro here the other day. The onion was diced incredibly small, so it was present in every bite but not overpowering. The cilantro was fresh and recently chopped. It too was proportioned PERFECTLY for maximum flavor punch without being overpowering. The puerco was a medium dice which was a great size for the quesadilla. It was incredibly flavorful and well marinated which translates to a juicy but not wet crown jewel in one of the best quesadillas I’ve ever had.

I literally went back a few hours later and bought two more to bring one to my wife.

What really made the experience memorable, though, were the warm smiles from the staff. There was a genuine kindness in their hospitality that made us feel more like guests than customers. If you're looking for a place that puts care into both their food and service, this hidden gem is worth a visit—or at the very least, a takeout order.

“We had a good meal at SouthSide Coneys! The only improvement we recommend is for the guy working the counter, to have some help. He was swamped between inside orders and the drive thru all by himself. He did an excellent job! We just wish he had help.”

“Clean restaurant. Depending upon what you're hungry for the curly fries and potato cakes are one of our favorites along with a mocha shake. Arby's has many different sandwich choices. Friendly counter folks, may I just say, I like their food, depending on what I'm craving.”
