Pros: Portion sizes were great. Service was fairly quick. Not busy at the time we visited on a weeknight. Bathrooms were tidy. Previous carry out orders were perfect.
Cons: Chicken wings were dry. Ribs had burnt ends. Mac n cheese was mush. Fried okra was over cooked with several burnt ones mixed in. Salad was wilted, dry, and brown. Both sweet and unsweetened teas were watered down to a point they could barely be called tea. Out of multiple menu items. Employees at the front counter could be more welcoming.
We’ve always carried out before this visit and been very pleased with our food and interactions with staff when picking up the food. Our recent dine in experience was a let down. We do not plan on returning to this bbq place in the future.

Their food is delicious and plentiful. We always take home leftovers!! But OMG! Their strawberry shortcake is amazing!!!! Tried it for the first time tonight and was THE BEST!! It’s worth it just for the desserts!!!!💕💕💕
Really liked the decorations. I will say this. The ribs were the best I ever had. Hot and fresh. But the burnt ends and pulled pork was cold. My wife said I should ask for it to be fixed. But, I didn’t want to mess with it. I personally wouldn come back. Unless it was strictly for the ribs. But I would be nervous my how food would come out again. But the potato salad and fries were good as well. But the meat is important.

Got the prime rib but it was cooked to medium well and dry. The rolls that came with the meal were hard and dry. The beans are similar to ham and beans versus baked beans.

Pretty good food all around. I didn't care much for the beans, but that is my opinion. They were just too peppery for me. Otherwise, pretty good flavor on the rest. That Mac and cheese is pretty fire as well. Nice spot for a quick meal.

Big portions. Try the hot links! Fried okra was great, brisket was really done. The beans were probably the weak link.

Came in for fathers day dinner with my brothers and dad. Service was decent. I ordered a 3 meat plate. Got brisket, ribs and burnt ends. I asked specifically for point cuts on the brisket and was informed that I cant request I just get what is sliced. Meats were room temp. The brisket (flat) had a bitter taste, no bark and was dry. The burnt ends needed water to get down and were not good at all. I had 2 pieces just to make sure they were as bad as I thought. The ribs were good flavored but a little dry. To be fair, ive smoked my own meat for a while and lived the last 10+ years in texas and I do have very high standards for bbq but this felt like chain resteraunt bbq more than an independent owner. The sides were mediocre. The prices arent horrible but I did expect better quality for spending 100 dollars. The atmosphere and layout had a very small town bbq feel to it which was great. Id say cleaner smoke, serve it hot, let customers choose what cuts of the meat they want and it would be good, if not great. Ill give it one more shot before I offer to show up, share part of my rub recipe and tend a fire for a day (kidding ill never give up my rub recipe). I will add that I tried my son's sausage and it was good and my brother said the smoke chicken wings were good.

Will go back. This is the bomb. Must eat here. Bet there were 2 cups of brisket on my sandwhich. That's all you need. Each side was 5.. you will not have room for that. Must try this place. Wonderful!!
Hard to find a place that gives your money's worth.
You will be glad you are here!!!!!!

First time to give it a try. Overall, was good. Good size portions. Had several plates w sliced brisket. Also got some pulled pork and polish sausage. Brisket was a bit dense, sausage was good, and pork was dry. Added some tableside sauce and that helped. Sides of creamed corn, cowboy (pinto) beans, and mac & cheese were average. Staff was friendly and helpful. Advertised 4% off if paid w cash but not sure I got that deal. Overall, good place to go. Might be busier and hustling on game days and such.
