The bartender was really kind even at the busiest times! It's a bit small inside when it fills up, but they make up for it with tons of tables outside in the back. I had a great time!
In town for a couple of nights and we were in search of a bar with Shuffleboard. Recommended by a local we checked out Stonewall. What a great time! Bartenders were very friendly, free Shuffleboard and strong drinks at a good price. Met some awesome locals and had a great time! Total dive bar folks but if that's what your looking this place is it!!
Stonewall Tavern in Stillwater, Oklahoma is a misnomer, not a 'liberal' bar or community the bar resides in. Culturally/socially/politically, not much has changed in Stillwater since before I showed up in April 1975, departure in December 1998. It wasn't a great place to drink back then and I reckon so now. Oklahoma State University has grown and has become a better, more diverse place to learn from an expanded menu of majors to degree in. I frequented places like Eskimo Joe's...read full review
