“I’m from out-of-state and ate here tonight with my mother. It was Great!!!! The service was amazing. We were checked on constantly. Our food came out incredibly fast. We shared Pollo Poblano which came out sizzling and remained hot our entire meal. We also shared a beef enchilada which was plenty big with cheese sauce. My Corona came with a chilled mug with fresh squeezed lime juice on the bottom. We asked for the hot sauce and it was top notch. This was as good (if not better) than some urban restaurants. Support this business. They are doing everything right!”

“Wow this place is so cute just full of holiday decorations and very cheerful. Absolutely perfectly clean. The employees were quick and efficient. The only thing I would say is that the online price is considerably cheaper than the in-store price. I think next time I would just order online.”

“Stopped by to feed the children and thought pizza would satiate the mob. One didn't want pizza; he wanted spaghetti, but they didn't have spaghetti, so we ordered him penned pasta and meatballs. One got a 12" pepperoni pizza, and one got a 9" cheese pizza. We, as adults, got the 4 meat 4 cheese calzone ring and a salad bar. The salad was good, and the lettuce mix was fresh. Tomatoes were crunchy and not soggy, and of course, that amazing Mazzio's ranch dressing was a must. It was fulling and delicious, and it got the kids out of the truck for a bit, so it was a nice change.

Kid-friendliness: They weren't mean, just not very friendly about the kiddos.”

“This Taco Bell had very generous and fair portions, unlike a lot of other fast food places. everyone that worked their had a great attitude and I was greeted when I opened the door. They were very quick to make my order. Definitely a bi-weekly stop for me when I get off/on work. I can tell these people put effort in and take their job seriously.”

“This store has gone through alot , from staff and management changes, it at one time was borderline line down for such a new store, rude employees and lazy management. Went in there today and the store is really clean, service was fast, and employees smiling and happy to serve. Food was fresh, atmosphere is ok, just store is small. I made a call in to be picked up Monday for lunch and it got left in the managers office, but when they realized the mistake they quickly fixed it and had our pizzas ready asap. “I’ve lived in Shawnee since 2016 and somehow I’ve never stopped by this place despite knowing it was here. After a neighbor and her friend were raving about the stir fry, we knew we had to try it too. Everything was amazing! I’ll start with the appetizers: If you’re a fan of the still-closed (as of 7/2024) Shawnee Pho then you’ll love the “Fresh Rolls” here at Saya Thai (comparable to SP’s Spring Rolls). Get extra sauce and load up! Moving on to the main course, I went for the Garlic Stir Fry with a Spicy Level 1 because I love spicy food but not so spicy I can’t taste my food. They have a scale of 5 for theirs, and my neighbor recommended a 2.5 so my husband went for a 3 with his Crying Tiger — which is a 12oz steak. I don’t think I could handle the continuous building of spice from his, but it was absolutely fantastic! Mine was moreso flavoring than spicy, so I’ll be doing at least a 2 next time. Desert: We don’t normally make it a habit, especially when we’re so full we have leftovers, but this place was too amazing not to. We went for the fried bananas and ice cream. I wish there was more chocolate and caramel but only because I don’t like coconut so I skipped the ice cream. The bananas are so gooey but the texture doesn’t get weird. So worth the price! As for the service and the atmosphere, everything was great. The service was perfect and the staff was very kind. I also really loved how the place was set up and decorated. Very simple and great lighting. I’ll definitely be back before I leave for Denver this weekend, and again when I return!”

I contacted the restaurant by Facebook on Easter Sunday to ask if would be possible to take some salsa and chips to take to a life-long friend who is in the hospital in Duncan, Okla. He grew up and lived many years in Meeker, and was a devoted customer of Abuelita Rosa, and loves their salsa. The staff agreed to prepare a special order that I picked up Monday before opening and took down to Duncan as a surprise. Not only did they have the salsa, but also queso, tortillas, chips. It was a great spread and really uplifted this whole family. This simply confirms my already high opinion of Abuelita Rosa!”
