“Wow wow wow! What a TREAT! My husband and I celebrated our 9 year wedding anniversary here this weekend and it was incredible. David, our waiter, along with the bar staff were so kind, professional, attentive, and overall had us leaving absolutely cared for! Everything we ate was seasoned and cooked to perfection; we had no problem choosing our entire meal thanks to David’s thorough introduction! What you see- Lemon Drop (I had two) shaken to perfection, of course the hand cut bacon, caesar salad that was incredibly light and refreshing- not a cream base here! A vinegar based dressing that was Devine!, followed by the 8oz filet, Brussels loaded with fixings, potatoes Egan and creamed spinach. Not pictured was a giant slice (not sure Alice is the correct word- perhaps quarter!) of their chocolate cake that was so rich and a wonderful way to end our evening. Truly and evening to remember!“

First things first, a quick shoutout to our awesome server, Emma, who made our breakfast experience smooth and enjoyable. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Thanks, Emma!

Now, onto the food!

I ordered the corned beef hash with sourdough toast and avocado on the side—and WOW, this dish delivered! The chopped potatoes were perfectly balanced with tender corned beef, and the toast was crispy on one side and warm and buttery on the other -- just right! Oh, and the hollandaise sauce? Amazing. Smooth, rich, and flavorful, with just the right little kick—it elevated every bite!

My wife went for the steak and eggs (poached, of course), and it was cooked to perfection. The steak was tender and flavorful, and her poached eggs were exactly what you'd hope for—delicate whites with velvety yolks. She loved the hollandaise sauce just as much as I did, adding it to just about everything on her plate.

Our younger son was all about those Mickey Mouse pancakes with whipped cream, fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, and sausage links. The pancake was fluffy and golden, and the whipped cream made it a total kid-pleaser. He gave it two sticky thumbs up!

Meanwhile, our older son went straight for the chicken and waffles. The waffle was light and airy, the fried chicken was crispy and flavorful, and together, they hit that perfect sweet-and-savory combo. He cleaned his plate in record time—always a good sign!

Our son's friend kept it classic with a chocolate chip waffle, scrambled eggs, and bacon. That waffle? Loaded with melty chocolate chips and just the right amount of sweetness. Add the crispy bacon and fluffy eggs, and you've got yourself a solid breakfast winner.

And did I mention the portions? Generous across the board!

All in all, EGGcellent & Things Cafe really lived up to its name. Cozy vibes, fantastic food, and stellar service. We’ll definitely be back—and next time, we might just order extra hollandaise!

“I’ve always raved about the consistency of Redrocks food and the amazingness of their steak, until tonight. The Gorgonzola bleu cheese ribeye is my absolute favorite special they run. Severely dissatisfied in the quality of the steaks we received tonight. We took some friends out for dinner tonight and it was unanimous that the steak quality was seriously diminished from our previous several experiences. I had heard that there was new management; unsure if this would be the reason, the USDA grade of steak has been decreased. The cook was perfect but when your steak is as tough as a boot, it’s hard to enjoy. 3 out of 9 plates were served as ordered this visit, (majority had no substitutions) there has never been an issue in the past with this either. It’s hard to write this review when all the times I have been there have been superior quality. I hope our next visit will be redemption“

“My mom (not vegan) wanted to go for Mother’s Day. I assumed their vegan items would be over priced and not worth it but we went for her. We got the 5 Course Grand Prixe Vegan Menu and OMG! I don’t think I’ve ever had better vegan food. Everything was incredible, they accommodate so many dietary restrictions (no cross contamination, gf, etc.) and although each course looks small we left feeling really full. The Chef even came by our table and chatted for a while to make sure we loved everything and the entire staff hand made & signed the sweetest Mother’s Day card for my mom. ❤️ They offer their vegan menu May-December and change their menu every month! “Friendly staff, that's interested in your order. Good hot food, and standard round tables and chairs. Sit down have a Coney with everything (chili,cheese, mustard, onion). I really enjoyed the food. The chili is a bit runny but it tastes like chili instead of clove and cinnamon.

Wheelchair accessibility: The parking lot runs into the sidewalk, with no curb. The front door has a simple threshold. The tables are standard with easily moved chairs.“

“My family was in Tulsa Christmas eve weekend. We came to see the Rhema Christmas lights on Friday and the gathering place park on Saturday (both amazing!). On our way out of town we needed to eat lunch before we drove back the KC, MO. I just did a Google search best restaurants near us. Upon searching through a few the high amount of reviews along with the high amount of positive reviews took me to search the website. I was instantly intrigued by the menu and fresh cut fries always catches my eye! So we decided to go to the brook! We were NOT disappointed at all! First cute neighborhood lots of neat shops etc and the building looked cool. The workers were very nice and although busy were attentive. We started with queso and chips and after eating almost all of the queso were offered a 2nd cup for free! I ordered the ground beef taco wrap with fries, my husband got a SW chicken wrap with mashed potatoes and my son got Mac n cheese. No one was disappointed. The fries, mashed pot and Mc n cheese were all frsh and definitely homeade. my taco burrito was delicious and very big..enough for a 2nd meal the next day. My husband's was the same! My son loved his Mac! I would give this place 10 stars if I could!“
