Love popping into brownies for a burger, fries and a tall cold glass of root beer.

Cozy little place plenty of seating for a small place it seemed really clean and the staff of super friendly I had the onion rings and they were awesome they were what I was hoping they were had been here in a long time I did get the hobo burger and was a little disappointed cuz my buns were dried out in crumbly it tastes like lettuce and bread because there's hardly any meat as you can see in the pictures. I don't know if they could actually get that any thinner and be able to hold on to it

It's been awhile since I have been to Brownies I worked here in the mid 80s Great place to eat back then.
Today not so much food is not the same recipes. You can get a better hamburger at Ron's hamburgers.

I had the hobo burger. There was a tiny bit of meat in between the bread, so I can't really tell you what the burger tastes like. The freedom fries were definitely not for me. Tasted like a burnt potato with not even a pinch of salt. The waitress was very nice. So maybe if I get lonely, I'll go in and have a chat over a slice of pie because that was the only thing I enjoyed.

I love This place the wait staff may have changed the cook's have changed they were in an American classic Hamburg restaurant speaking Spanish I didn't find that really acceptable if you have hired help in a classic American food place and your kitchen cooks are speaking Mexican spanish I think the owners should demand that all the help that is being heard by the customers should demand their help speak only clear plain English not some foreign language but I'm not racist at all my boyfriend is member of the Cherokee tribe but I do like the food the atmosphere was okay a great Tulsa Oklahoma treasure give it a try

Food was ok got the double old-fashioned and the patties tasted like a frozen patty from Walmart. The service wasn't so great either.

Great breakfast sandwich (ham, egg, and American Cheese on Texas toast. Some of the best hand breaded Onion Rings I’ve ever tasted. But the burgers were very disappointing particularly the onion burger which was more bread, cheese and sautéed, not fried, onions than “beef” which was a flavorless, ridiculously thin patty.

Both servers were great and treated us like family. The restaurant was spotlessly clean and had a great nostalgic feeling (in business since 1956) to it. Last note, we went specificity try the Butterscotch Meringue Pie, sadly they were sold out.

When I went in the middle of the afternoon, the place was pretty packed. Granted, it's not a large restaurant, so not a lot of people can fit in it to begin with. Overall, I had a good experience here. I really enjoyed the burger I got (the Theta Burger). Although the fries were a bit lackluster (a little greasy, not crisp, and not salted), the burger definitely made up for it. The service was a mix, as while we didn't see a lot of our waitress during our visit (and therefore had to flag her down for a water refill), the food came out at a pretty quick pace considering it all looked and tasted freshly made. I did not try their desserts or root beer, but I would go back if I'm in the area to try these. The men's bathroom was clean considering the state of the building, which is obviously in decline.

I don't recommend this for larger groups (6+), as there isn't really a ton of space, but if you have a party of five or less, you can make it work, though you may have to wait a little to get a table if it's a busier time of day. If you're a solo eater or on a date, it's a great option in the area for reasonably priced food that will fill you up and taste good.
