Came here this morning wasn’t busy at all, took forever to get food, when the food did come they brought it out separately, my food came out 15 min after someone else’s, who was seated with me, the short order cook is slow, and the waitress had no urgency to making sure all the food came out all at once. When my French toast came out it tasted like eggs, no cinnamon or powder sugar, and wasn’t crispy at all it was mushy and definitely wasn’t worth the price. Won’t be back.

Let me start out by saying that this is a very busy place to eat. We were there almost an hour and it stayed at least 3/4 full the whole time. We both ordered a hamburger steaks, moms two sides were tots and onion rings and mine were fries and tots. Neither of us cared for the steaks (I believe this mainly due to preference) and the side orders were HUGE amounts and were great. The establishment was clean and the service was very good. I don't think I would choose this restaurant as a first choice, mainly because the helpings are so big that (at least for us) it would be a waste of food.

Onion rings were served 45 minutes before my hamburger. They looked like the oil in the fryer needed changed. The hamburger was okay. The restaurant was just kind of dirty and ran down. It seems like they are selling that down home old fashioned hamburger shop experience but not delivering on it. The staff was telling people they were closed even though they were open till three and it was only 2:30. There are several places I can think of that have better burgers and offer a better experience.

I've always loved the people and services 10/10 very good food and family friendly environment! The burgers aren't my favorite but I'm not a big beef fan but their breakfast is to die for!! I'd totally recommend it to anyone

It was a really good burger definitely different from anything I've ever had the onions were sweet and delicious so I'm assuming sweet vidalias but you don't like onions don't get the burger with them cuz it comes with plenty but man like I said it was amazing very old school Diner and it was close to the car show so that was cool give him a shot tell him Johnny D sent you.

This place seems to be struggling to maintain what they have as far as inside outside of the restaurant, but the food and service are good. Maybe the loyal customers should donate money to this restaurant so this restaurant can repair what is broken. This economy after covid has been very difficult for our local institutions to compete and maintain themselves with the chain stores.

It’s been about 6 months since we last had Brownies. We tried to go to this restaurant for breakfast this morning. Immediately upon entering, the waitress seemed overwhelmed. Large group at the back of the restaurant, almost every table had guests. There were a few dirty tables throughout. She wiped our table when we sat down and took our drink order. The Pepsi she brought me was flat. I remembered this happening the last time we were here, which was probably one of the reasons we haven’t been back in awhile, because even then it felt like it wasn’t as good as it used to be. I told the waitress and asked for water instead. Another customer mentioned their flat root beer and the waitress said their CO2 was broken, which is unfortunate for a restaurant that heavily advertises their root beer. We sat and waited for our food, watching as the cook slowly made the food, utilizing the microwave a lot, more than I’d expect for fresh cooked food. The waitress was working tirelessly, trying to greet customers, take orders, deliver food, and bus tables. I don’t know if someone called in (it doesn’t sound like it since other recent reviews have pointed out that she was the only one there), but if the owner has decided that staffing with one waitress and no other staff on a weekend breakfast service is a cost savings they need, the quality of the service is suffering and it makes people leave and not come back, so they might want to rethink what’s actually going to be profitable. Nuked food is not enough to bring people back. We left without getting our food and went to Village Inn, where the owner believes in actually staffing a restaurant.
