Visiting Tulsa for my sisters wedding, my oldest son (19) wanted to try a local coffee spot. We browsed the Google coffee shops and he settled on DoubleShot! Unfortunately, I got a call from him that he had experienced racism from the staff. He stood waiting his turn and once staff finished with prior customer-no one ever greeted him, no one asked if he had questions...they would occasionally catch his eye and shift away quickly moving onto other tasks. Moments later another customer walked in and the staff immediately greeted that individual. My son realized in that moment he was being treated this way because of how he looked . I have taught my half-white, half-black son to always be respectful, patient and kind in the face of poor behavior from others. My son is the son of a 24 yr active military member, active son of a police officer, a graduate of a private school, a recipient of a college football scholarship, actively working towards his own career in the military. BUT-NONE OF THIS SHOULD EVEN MATTER! He could appear homeless or crooked etc and he is JUST AS DESERVING of respect and equality customer service! This is so disgusting that people still have this type of a mindset to look at someone ans decide their worth! We will make sure to warn others of giving business to DoubleShot. The owners should check their cameras and terminate the employees working this shift-I would be absolutely MORTIFIED to know I had hired such people if I owned this business!

This place isn’t what it used to be. Every time I come here now, the baristas hate me even though I’m literally just ordering coffee in a polite tone and I always tip. The guy didn’t turn the screen around so I could leave a tip today which was strange and I didn’t realize it until I left.
Staff is pretentious and rude. Vibes are not good enough to make the terrible customer service worth it. It’s from the top down here.
Amazing atmosphere and friendly staff, great coffee
Amazing establishment
I don’t leave reviews often, but this place is my absolute favorite. Easily the best coffee I’ve ever had and the staff is always friendly and personable.
Definitely a cool spot. I found that the people that work here a litttttle snobby. Coffee is on the bitter side so if that’s what you’re into, you’ll like it.
I thought their chocolate chip cookie was set apart. Really good!
But again, they lost a star for me because atmosphere could definitely be happier/more welcoming.
There’s a slight undertone of negativity I feel.

My favorite coffee spot in Tulsa! Great place to hunker down and work for a few hours. The pumpkin bread is great and it’s the best latte in town. Beware it is NOT super kid friendly and is very busy so come early or later in the day. From 8-10am the line can be very long. Also this place is more for coffee purists, If you want dozens of flavor options go somewhere else.

5 stars! And you want to know why? This place, I've been told, is a sustainable powerhouse and I super appreciate hearing about all they're doing for the community. Why else? Well, they had a picky tea drinker (myself) be brought here by friends who love coffee, and I was taken care of very well by a staff member who let me smell the leaves and brought me a whole mixology-looking plate to make my own London fog since they didn't know how. We got to sit and chat a bit and they have lots of seating upstairs and downstairs. Their breakfast sandwich was really good and it was just nice to warm up with my own custom tea drink. Thank you for accommodating my caffeine-sensitive body and being kind! I'm always afraid of coffee shops being snooty and this is not one of them. Oh, and they have parking lots on both sides of the building.

This is a beautiful coffee shop! Highly recommend for collaboration or studying. Coffee is reasonably priced and there is tons of seating. The second floor is especially fun!

Double shot is a great spot for coffee with a beautiful space. It’s one of my favorite when you can get in and out or go early. The only downside is that this place is quite popular so during busy times (usually mid-morning), you can be stuck waiting in a line for 15-25 minutes (has happened several times I’ve gone at different times of the day). So if you need to get in and out quickly, don’t be surprised if you’re not haha.
