We had Ludgers catering company service our event we had for my mothers 50th birthday, we worked with Lindsay on the spread and plan of the food and extras, she was so attentive and responded quickly through email and phone, the only thing I have to say which is a fault in both sides, mine included, there probably wasn’t enough questions asked or provided by myself to avoid confusion and last minute changes towards the end of deadline to the event. These small details didn’t affect the outcome of the event as the food and servers we had at the time of the event was amazing. There was so much food and our servers were so friendly and helpful with making sure it look clean and everything go smoothly.

Leftovers were none, it all was thrown out. My Mother-in-Law is adamant that the stuffing was spoiled, in any case it was essentially liquid. The turkey and ham were both pressed from poor cuts of meat, the green beans were straight out of the Ben E Keith bag; the mashed potatoes and the gravy were unremarkable at best, the rolls were fine. Plus sides, customer service was good, very responsive and the staff was friendly, but I have to view this experience as $430 wasted; nobody taking any leftovers whatsoever is unheard of in our family. Next year, we've decided we're doing tacos. Will not be back. Everyone left Christmas hungry.

MICHELLE is a superhuman. At one point during the wedding I asked her if she needed anything from me & she said "I need you to enjoy the day & worry about nothing." She felt like family- like the badass, highly successful boss woman aunt. Ludgers helped with EVERYTHING. They have awesome relationships with other vendors & can get you what you need. Michelle is unbelievable in her organization & ability to keep track of everything. She outlined the process of catering for a wedding very clearly from day one. I can't imagine going with anyone else.Food was delicious- apps- steak & crostini, caprese salad skewers, dinner- roasted chicken, prime rib, and guests said the veggie lasagna was the best veg option they've ever had at a wedding. kids chicky tenders & macncheese was great. Dessert- Chocolate coconut bars, strawberry shortcake shooters & cannolis- all delicious. We also had them help us with linens, tables, chairs, and the bars. They were able to bring a bartender to the venue early to serve us drinks while getting ready. I am not kidding when I say that they will literally help with anything.We even got a gift from them after the wedding. Leading up to the wedding, a few of our other vendors would ask us who is catering- when we said Ludger's they all said "GOOD!" Their reputation says it all. I hope you get the opportunity to see them in action & feel the joy that comes working with such delightful humans (and delicious food is a bonus!).
