Attended a conference at this property. The renovations were amazing! I remember the place it was a dump. New rooms and new common areas. Staff was quick and helpful. It's just not the same place anymore. Well done!
We are diamond members so stay at a lot of hilton brand hotels. We had stayed here several times in previous years. This visit we had some problems. One they did not comp both of our breakfasts just one, two they tried to charge us for parking when we did not park in their garage. These were not major problems but they were sortt of rude and definitely did not make us feel welcome. The room was fine.
We got complementary breakfast with our room. It was okay with something for everyone. We ordered room service the first night and it was kinda expensive. We also were not told, nor did it say anywhere on the menu that a 20% tip was included... they delivered everything in a brown paper bag with the receipt in the bag so we tipped at the door. He got a big tip! I think it should say somewhere that it's added on. The food was average but good and as easy as it could get, but...
