Sorry service from the start and all the way to the ending
Service was not great, hash browns were cold. Staff was more focused on restocking and side work vs customers. Would not go back to.

Metro Diner offers good value with its Friday special, which includes fish and chips with two sides and a salad for only $12.99. The retro-style diner has plenty of parking and seating options, including a patio where people can wait and a bar inside. Many visitors enjoy the tasty food, friendly service, and weekend brunch specials, such as chicken and waffles with spicy syrup. Customers often praise the fried chicken for being juicy, flavorful, and crispy. The chicken and cinnamon pancakes served with spicy syrup are highly recommended, with some choosing to get half orders. The biscuits and gravy are also a favorite and considered outstanding. The diner offers flavored teas and coffees, like cinnamon crumble coffee and peach tea, which are always well-liked. Although there can be a wait, especially on Sundays, the staff takes down phone numbers and texts when ready, making the wait easier. The holiday limited-time menu includes unique options like Stuff ‘N Waffle with Turkey, which features stuffing pressed into a waffle with mashed potatoes, turkey, gravy, and cranberry sauce. The prices are very reasonable, with a typical meal for a family costing around $70 for four people, much less than other nearby restaurants. The staff, especially servers like Tonya, are known for their attentive, friendly service, making every visit a positive experience. The restaurant is kid-friendly, offering coloring pages and patient staff who involve children in ordering.

Visitors often mention the friendly and attentive waitstaff, making the experience enjoyable. The menu features a variety of comfort foods, with some missing favorites like chicken fried steak, which many wish to see added. People enjoy the quick service, tasty meals like meatloaf and shepherd’s pie, and the overall warm atmosphere. The diner continues to be a popular spot for good food, reasonable prices, and friendly service, often making it the highlight of visitors’ week. The overall experience is described as blissful, with many looking forward to returning again and again.
