Friend and I were on a roadtrip, MO to TX, and stopped here for lunch midway. The half sausage/half beef burger is amazing, juicy and flavorful, larger than expected. The fries might be double fried, crispy, great potato flavor. It has a lovely small town atmosphere, everyone knows everyone it seems. Hope I get the chance to stop again one day. 😊👍
Not feeling the hype with this place. The burgers are good but the Ron’s-specific burgers are $10+ and don’t come with fries or a drink. I have tried the chicken too and it was pretty bland to me. The fries are also kind of soggy and not great. I have tried this place several times now and never been that impressed and especially for how much it costs.
Okay, but a bit disappointing. The chili was solid. It came in a massive bowl and had some flavor. It was not the best chili I ever had or close but the bowl of chili was a meal in itself at a reasonable price. The sausage cheeseburger was okay. It was blend, extremely heavy, and dry and did not have much flavor or moisture. I would opt for the beef burger if I ever go back. The server was sweet, quick, and attentive.
