Our party of five, had to remind the host that they had missed our reservation, so we waited about another hour through a second wait. While waiting through our second wait, we attempted to buy drinks at the bar and were literally ignored for more than thirty minutes. When we were finally seated and served, three out the five received food below expectations. Our server did her best, but the evening of old friends getting together from Texas and Arizona our experience at this restaurant was pretty disappointing.

Thanksgiving day was our first time being there. The food was good. I had the 6oz bacon wrapped fillet and my son had the bone in ribeye. Steaks where good to perfection, medium rare. The shoe string onion rings were so good. Brussels sprouts looked to be dry and over cooked could of used some butter. The side salad was a bit dull with lettuce, croutons and cheese. Could used a few cherry tomatoes and maybe couple slices of purple/red onion in it. Just to make it look alive. Potatoe soup was delicious. Service was good. She made sure we had everything we needed and she was very polite. With the few things that I seen wrong. I would definitely go back. Just keep in mind that this was Thanksgiving day the busiest time of the year for any restaurant open. Thank you Saltgrass family. 😀

We usually have good experiences here during the Holidays. However this Thanksgiving the service was awful. We had reservations for 2:00 but was seated at 2:20 no big deal. However there was a breakdown somewhere between the waiter and the cooks. My husband ordered a steak well done but was given a medium done pink all the way through also given a baked potato when ordered mash potatoes. My ribs was over cooked my shrimp under cooked. My husband had sprite and the waiter poured water over the sprite. We have eaten here every Thanksgiving for 4 years this time it was awful.
Made a reservation, still had to wait 30 minutes. Ordered sampler appetizer, queso with shredded brisket came out as cold sludge. Ordered Oscar Fillet medium rare with loaded bake potato. After 45 minutes, waiter informed me, kitchen out of baked potatoes. I substituted sweet potato. Two minutes later, food came out minus sweet potato. All food was cold and cooked improperly. I ordered medium rare Oscar Fillet. It came out well done with no pink, no juices, oh, and no Oscar. All food was sent back to the kitchen. The waiter then brought out sweet potato only and asked if I wanted to eat it by itself or with meal. I of course said I wanted it with my meal. Writing this while waiting to get the food fixed. This is my first trip to Saltgrass, probably will be my last.

We had such a great experience at Saltgrass Steak House while in Tulsa for a wrestling tournament. Our kids and the whole family really enjoyed the food — we even went back twice during our trip. I had a steak one night and the blackened redfish another night, which our waitress recommended and it was absolutely amazing. Great customer service, friendly staff, and delicious food. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!
