We wanted a place with character, and Kilkenny’s delivered in every way. Irish pubs can be hit or miss—sometimes they feel more like themed set pieces than actual places. But Kilkenny’s felt authentic from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the food was excellent, and the pint selection hit the spot. What truly made the experience memorable, though, was the staff. Our server was friendly and attentive, and the manager even came over to chat with us. They made us feel right at home. “Great place for a delicious and filling breakfast. I had one of the skillets. Maybe the sunrise skillet. I got the hash browns deep fried so they came out crispy. It also came with two slices of toast. White, wheat, rye or sourdough. My friend got the country fried pork chops, came with eggs and a biscuit with gravy and then he ordered a side of French toast. Everything was spot on. Quick, friendly service. I asked for two bowls for my leftovers and waitress was kind enough to bring me a fresh bowl of gravy and two to go drinks.“

The dining room was cozy, comfortable, quiet and classy. Creme brûlée was also really good. “What is there not to love about Dead Armadillo? I was introduced to this little gem through my rescue (Oklahoma Pet Collective Society) which DA helps support. I admit, I typically hate beer. The only beer drink I’ve EVER actually liked came from DA; it’s their pickle beer (literally so good) mixed with a special Bloody Mary mix. Out of this world. The outside back garden/dog park area is the best in Tulsa. This is a really great little place to just chill and relax and have some fun with friends and family, including the furry members.“
