Excellent food and hometown friendly with great prices as well. Too bad there aren't more of these old school places to eat instead of the chain restaurants that are so widespread today. These places are a dying breed. Enjoy then while you still have the chance.
Out of the very few places to eat in Velma, this is the one and only that has never messed up my order. It's cheap in price but food is really good. Don't let it scare you that it looks like a little hole in the wall place. It is good and a burger and fries for $6 or so, can't be beat.

Small town, family atmosphere since 1971 when Mr and Mrs Nichols bought the Cafe. Mrs Nichols retired and sold the Cafe to her long-time cook so everything is made with the same love. They are located directly across from the school and cater to the kids making it a safe place to go for their lunch.
