“good place to go to taste some good hamburgers at a good price with a good view, it is the first time I see a restaurant in the middle of highway it looks incredible. in terms of service it was good without getting excellent they had problems with finding the orders. in terms of cleanliness I think the bathrooms need a little more attention“
“The wait was a little longer than expected but they were busy. That's understandable. I believe however someone who pulled in after us got their order before us. Not a huge deal to me but to some people it may be. Overall still a pleasant experience.Kid-friendliness: Good atmosphere. Safe place.Parking: Like most sonics pull in to order parking is widely available“
“Jodi was very very nice to us when taking our order. It’s a new McDonald’s with a fresh look and very open and inviting atmosphere. The food was great and the service was even better!Kid-friendliness: My one year old and my 7 year old nephew went with us and they got happy meals. There were a lot of boosters and high chair for use if multiple families were to eat at once.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a few wheel chair accessible tables and handicap parking spaces“
“The above poster is right about the outward appearance. It is great on the inside with TVs and cable at every table. They had some really great wing flavors to choose from. I got the mild and the spicy blue cheese flavor. The wings were great, but a little chewy at times. I also got some fries which are the steak fry style. They were excellent. The service was great and very friendly. I would definitely go back. I even got a few 50cent college football helmets on the way out in a vending machine. If your getting work done at Firestone give them a try!“
“I have always liked Carl's Jr. a lot. Their food is definitely better than some of the other big fast food chains and the employees are always pleasant. Although in a truck stop (we were traveling), this location was no exception. We got the California Classic burgers and the fried zucchini with ranch. Love the zucchini ~ it's a great alternative to the usual French fries. The employee who took our order was very nice and helpful even it was very busy. It was great to get something decent and hot to eat after a 600 mile drive.“
“A beautiful morning for a drive. A quick spin on the Will Rogers Tpk. working our way between and around the heavy truck traffic and the annoying drivers that think the left-hand lane is for cruising. Then taking highway 69 N. at the Big Cabin Exit for the relaxing final miles. On the road side the cows graze in the pastures and redtail hawks are perched on the fences looking for breakfast. The Hi-Way Café is a quintessential Mother Road diner, decorated with iconic symbols of America’s past. A must stop for the photo op and good food. Their menu is big, covering a little of everything. This ain’t no Mexican restaurant, though. If you are a tourist stick with diner food: breakfast, a burger, something fried, or simply a cup of coffee and a big slice of fresh pie.For us a couple of eggs, crispy hash browns, crispy bacon, all cooked exactly as ordered. My wife added a big fluffy fresh biscuit with gravy and for me just the gravy. The gravy was instant; common. Very few diners make it from scratch. A few crumbles of country breakfast sausage for seasoning would have made it perfect. The coffee was good; our cups stayed full. Friendly service.Be sure to check out the car with all the stickers on it. Also, the old Jukebox. It is still filled with 45’s; song titles that only your grandparents would remember!“
