4 Best Fast Food Restaurants in Watonga

“I’ll admit that I occasionally eat at the sterile fast-food chains, but usually more out of necessity than choice. It’s getting harder to find true locally owned gems like the Hotdog Joint!

I discovered this place on Google Maps and decided I had to give it a try. I’ve now been twice, and both visits have been excellent. There was one cook and one person handling the register, taking orders, and waiting on tables—and somehow the service was still completely on point.

I had to order the bacon cheeseburger and tater tots again because they were so good the first time. And once again, they didn’t disappoint. The burger was cooked perfectly—hot, juicy, and full of flavor—and the tater tots were golden and perfectly crispy.

This is exactly the kind of small, locally owned place I love finding: simple, friendly, unpretentious, and serving really good food.

If you’re in Watonga or just passing through, the Hotdog Joint is definitely worth a stop!“

“I just wanted to give a shout out to Amanda Gooden-Thomason DeBaun and Watonga Pizza Hut. The waitress today Aamiyah and the rest of the staff (Valente, Luis, and Isauro) did an amazing job! I came in with my family of 7 and was concerned that we would overwhelm them, but a group came in just after we got there of 30 or more people with no warning, and this group of young individuals did an amazing job keeping up, keeping drinks refilled, and taking care of everything that they could with as much that was thrown at them! I am very proud to see a group of employees hold their own and not get overwhelmed and frustrated. You all keep up the amazing work! I just wanted to post something positive because I see so much negativity on here anymore.“
