“Small little piece of food heaven in Siloam Springs. The two Adobada tacos I had were so delicious I wanted more, but I had more samples to try. Someone mentioned the Queso Brirra tacos were truly scrumptious. So of course, I had to get one, and I was not disappointed at all (I even drank the remaining consomme). On to the Revuelta Papusa! Well, it was crispy, soft, thicker than others, and filled with goodness. Paired with the vinegary slaw, and Papusa sauce, well let's just say I'm drooling just thinking about it now. I tried the refried beans with homemade corn tortillas, and again was not disappointed. My wife had two Asada tacos and she even let me taste one, and got punched in the face with flavor. She also got a cheese quesadilla plate which was delicious for just a cheese quesadilla. Over all, I now can believe and see why they have 5 stars. The owner Shelly (how everyone pronounces her name because I guess people mess her real name up) was so nice, and checked on us personally. I really felt like I was at my childhood friend's house in New Mexico, being fed by his long deceased grandmother (except I had to pay now).If you haven't tried this place, and want something truly better than the usual cater to the uninformed taste buds restaurants. This is the place to go if you truly appreciate good food.I know my doctor won't be happy I've found this place. Oh well, one life.“

“Stop by Antojitos Arcoiris while I was in Siloam Springs because I wanted a refreshing drink. The agua frescas did not disappoint! It costs about $4 for a large and they have multiple flavors to choose from. I got the melon and coconut. I'll have to try the food next time. Definitely recommend!“

“Best place to eat in Siloam! The tortas and burritos and fantastic, especially the lengua. Salsas are perfect, the menudo and posole are fresh and delicious, posoles and tortillas have the best masa and the only place around for a quesadilla de mais, totally different from a regular, dry, tasteless quesadilla.“

“The first few miles of Highway 51 east bound from Tahlequah have some nice curves. Then the road relaxes and straightens a little. Here and there it evolves back into a few long lazy curves to navigate the topography as highway 62. It is a nice drive to the railroad town of Westville, OK and some unexpected delicious Mexican food at El Sombrero. It is a little building on the west side of 59 just south of Highway 62. They have been in business since 2013. The air-conditioning unit on the north end of the building looks large enough to cool a Walmart. A good indication that El Sombrero will be an oasis when the temperatures break 100 again. It was pleasant in there today! They have a large OkieMex menu and daily specials. My wife went with a taco salad with steak. Excellent grilled steak, superb guacamole, and perfect creamy tasty beans. It was served in a freshly fried, crispy flour tortilla bowl. She rated it as good as she has had anywhere. I think there was some confusion between me and the young lady taking my order. Maybe, maybe not. I will never know for sure; but here is the situation. One of the specials on the chalk board out front was Enchiladas Verdes. That is what I tried to order. What I got did not look like what I am accustomed to getting for Enchiladas Verdes. AND after eating them, I don’t care! I got two delicious ground beef enchiladas covered in wonderful sour cream sauce, with those perfect beans and rice. Eat this! OMG it was good!It took quite a while for the food to come to the table after ordering. I know why. There is no doubt that the ground beef and the creamy sauce were not prepared until I ordered. Fresh in taste and equally fresh in appearance. It was worth the wait, worth the drive and worth the money. This is a rare small town find. The restaurant is small, clean and with very friendly service. The salsas are excellent. Always ask for the good salsa picante. Essential to making a perfect meal exceptional. For other reviews laced with superfluous, time-wasting inessential information, sarcastic diatribe and subjective opinion, follow Spike S. on Yelp and Spike Speedwell on Google“

“Stopped in to grab some lunch to go. There are two things I have to say are negatives about this restaurant. First off the prices on the website are incorrect vs what your going to actually pay. The second is I ordered the chili verde and although the Verde sauce had a great flavor the pork was so tough it was a hard to chew. The positive is the hubs ordered the chicken Verde enchiladas and he said they tasted great and were plentiful. Chips are also made in house which are always the best chips.“

“I enjoyed everything about this place. The food was good and the drinks were strong. I split a normal order of shrimp/chicken fajitas and combined with some queso it was more than enough for two of us. Speaking of queso, they serve the white queso that is absolutely delicious on some rice. I am sure that I will be back next time I'm in the area.“
