Wife and I stopped for the Sunday buffet which featured chicken and dressing. Did not have giblet gravy. Very dry. Rest of food wasn’t hot. Ate at Eufaula 4 or 5 years ago when they had a restaurant there. Cannot say this experience was anywhere close to comparable. Sorry I wasn’t favorably impressed. I give it a 2.
Absolutely love their buffet. Best home style chicken and dressing to be had. we actually plan trips around when this place is open so we can stop in to eat.
We pulled in for a quick lunch and I’m so glad we did! The okra was hit and tasty and the chicken chunks were huge! If you’ve been missing fried chicken you won’t be disappointed!
Cox's Country Buffet is a wonderful place with hot, fresh, and delicious food, including great southern comfort food like fried chicken, dumplings, meatloaf, and catfish. The food has improved recently, with everything from coleslaw to chicken and even the sausage with onions being absolutely satisfying. The staff is friendly and quick to restock items, creating a good down-home atmosphere. Perfect for truckers and families, it offers a comfortable, homey feeling and is definitely kid-friendly. The buffet with a drink is affordable, less than $15 per person, and the food is very reasonably priced, featuring excellent home cooking, including great vegetables and side dishes. Wednesday features meatloaf, while Friday is fish day. There is plenty of parking for trucks, trailers, cars, and RVs, with wheelchair accessibility. This nice buffet-style restaurant is family-run and provides good food, service, and a friendly atmosphere, along with awesome desserts.
