I have been purchasing sauce and pico de gallo to take home occasionally for years.
This Thursday I was told the pico can only come in a 4 oz cup I said ok not a problem but I need 16 oz which is what I normally buy from the other manager this was a different staff. He said no problem then changed his reasoning to customer become confused seeing I charged 4 times because the small cups( actually was not on my receipt) but one charge just like the sauce. The food I received was not what I ordered. We were also charged a $7 fee for sharing a platter with my spouse. I mentioned the issues we had with the cashier and he said a quick sorry and went about his business. Will not return.
My 2 year old granddaughter was turned away today. She has egg and dairy allergies, so we typically take her allergy-appropriate food when we eat out. Chelino’s staff denied us bringing her food in so we could all eat together. While technically it is their right to refuse, it’s not very business or family oriented. We will not be back to Chelino’s. By the way, Alfredo’s was very happy to accommodate us.
