Armando's Pizza Amherstburg - Dine In & Delivery

I came here with some friends and we had a dine in meal. My friends had pizzas and I had spaghetti and meatballs. We each enjoyed our meals very much. The waitress who served us was quite pleasant and the atmosphere was very relaxed and comfortable. The interior looks nicer than the photo I had seen posted online. I recommend this place highly.

We took our mother for mother's Day lunch there was a waitress who served us she was awesome I can't remember her name great food great portions the meat sauce was excellent!!!

Disappointed

I want to start by saying that we have been long time customers of this location. Yes, sometimes quality isn't always great (that happens), but customer service has always been top notch. We ordered 2 pizzas last night, and when I arrived to pay I noticed on the screen that there was an item listed on the pizza that I didn't ask for. The girl working the front counter was very polite and apologetic. She brought the pizza to the back to check if that item was on the pizza, and it was. She came back to the front and apologized, saying it would take another 5-6 minutes because there were no other orders and that my other pizza would be on the oven so it wouldn't get cold. I told them I didnt want it rushed or undercooked and they insisted it wouldn't be. Once it was finished, she showed it to me and it was underdone so they put it back in the oven. I understand mistakes happen, but it really didnt seem that much ownership was taken, and nothing was offered to rectify the error other than having to wait another 10 minutes for my food to be redone while the other pizza sat. I asked if there was a manager working as I was on my way out, and was told that a manager was there, but had just left. It's very disappointing that they left before ensuring the issue was rectified. They didn't bother to come and apologize or resolve the issue themselves, but put it on the girl working the front counter to figure out. When we got home to eat, the pizza that was redone, had raw bacon all over it. It seemed as though they put raw bacon on it and then put the cheese on top.
Overall a very disappointing experience.

We had pizza and garlic knots tonight and were disappointed in the flavor. It is very different and lacking. The service was great as usual but unfortunately it is not the same with ownership change.

Ordered pizzas last night for dinner and opted to pick them up because it’s usually faster than delivery. I got home and realized that the order was incorrect so I called and explained and the manager was so kind he replaced the pizzas for us and had them delivered to us. The pizzas were amazing and we will definitely be back! Thank you!

Since change of ownership this has gone to hell. Removed all burgers from the menu, food is bland and only getting a half filled pasta containers. Will no longer be ordering from here.

I tried their Detroit style deep dish “Zio Peter”. It was beyond perfect. The fluff on the dough is outstanding. Everything else about it is perfect. Cheese is the perfect amount and the sauce was just right. 10/10

The dining inside or outside is a nice touch.

Very disappointed that there were picnic tables for the outside seating. That's fine for young people. But us middle age folks need a back rest. Private tables and chairs would be nice.

Meh. I was hoping to be blown away after reading all the great reviews. Sadly there wasn’t nearly enough red sauce and the crust was over baked and hard to chew. But the young lady who cashed me out was a 5 star.
