“Absolutely the best smoked bbq we have ever tasted!!! Hubby and I came upon Smokin Birds by chance on a drive through Bala recently. He had the Brisket sandwich and I had the pulled Pork sandwich. The meat on both was so tender, just melts in your mouth. Served on a lovely brioche bun and had a delicious pineapple coleslaw on it as well. All of the flavours were so amazing. I wish we were closer by.”

“The subs are to die for if you get a 12" your taking home 6".. stacked with super huge amounts of cold cuts and toppings! This is our go to spot for great Coffee and Submarines that last like 2 meals, Mr Sub and Subway are not even comparable to this place hands down.”

“Sweet little coffee shop! Nice and close to the arena with a great selection of hot and cold drinks, pastries and a few meal options. I had a delicious Chai Latte and a a fresh Lemon Cranberry muffin from the cranberry capitol! Highly recommended!!”

“We stopped in to Pie on March Break for a late lunch for two adults and two kids. It was our first time there and the server was so nice and super helpful. We ordered chips, the meatball slider appetizers and two pizzas and the food was so good - really tasty and creative ingredient combos. We also found it very reasonably priced for Muskoka dining. Will definitely be going back again!”

“This pot pie my hubby brought home for us didn't last long enough for me to take a picture!!!! Stephen Bradley drives by this place all the time during work, and he finally stopped in tonight. I gotta say, for a frozen pot pie, it tasted amazingly fresh! High quality ingredients for sure! As a long lived pot pie lover, this one definitely tops the charts!! My 9 month old daughter couldnt get enough! Absolutely must try!”

“Small restaurant serving out BIG taste.

Fresh full of flavor meals, the chicken and burger were perfectly cooked, juicy, and well seasoned.

Garden salad was made with the freshest vegetables and the fries were crispy and hot!

Excellent service from happy staff ( I don't remember our server's name even though she told us, only server working Wed Aug 20th 1pm was fantastic!! So kind and quick even though it was busy )

“I walked into this location at 815pm on Sunday night. I had been told they close at 9pm. I started placing my order and casually asked "is it true you close at 9?" The manager looked up, smiled and informed me that actually on weekends he closes at 8. I felt so bad as I was keeping him and his employee. He was super polite and said he didn't mind at all and that he was happy to help. Since I was at the Andy's House hospice with family I was so happy he stayed to accommodate my order. I was trying to rush with my orders and gave a few incorrect requests and they fixed it with no problems. Very very accommodating and friendly. Two more women came in even later than myself and they were equally as accommodating. Highly recommend this location”

“Just had the NEW steak and egg breakfast, added some bacon which was perfect. I recommend the 9oz over the 4.5oz and rare of course. Had a perfect breakfast with a side of coffee and baileys. Muskoka has a not so new treasure, the town of Torrance has a specific one”

“I stopped on my way home from work to get a special dinner treat last Thursday night. I ordered one of my favourite meals, which used to be called blush pasta and is now called wild mushroom pasta. Regardless of if you like mushrooms, or not, this is a delicious meal. There are so many things in the pasta, bacon, peppers, mushrooms, onions, all mixed in with this delightful rose sauce. I eat a pretty good amount of food generally, and I can eat off this meal three times. There are so many things in the pasta, I find I can cook a few handfuls of penne at home and expand this into three dinners. Well done Bass Lake! 💚 oh yeah! And it comes with 2 pie sized pieces of tasty bread! Double yum!”

“It's pretty good pizza for coming out of a machine it's hard to deny that. Great amount of cheese , decent amount of meat. Tastes great. I hope this company comes out with another machine that does some other good food from a machine.”
