Chuck's Roadhouse Bar & Grill

So I went for a date at Chucks... and they wouldn't let my boyfriend modify his order. He wanted the sliders. took me out to eat at chucks..... hes allergic to vinegar...

And they couldn't take the pickle off the sliders and the sauce after 9pm cause their not allowed to modify your sliders after that time. Even if you have allergies..... so my new man never ate because he cant modify his sliders.

The manager and waiting staff all shut him down.

He wanted the sliders. Just no pickle and sauce.

I dont think we will have a date here ever again. I was not impressed that they would not provide for his allergies. You would rather him starve then take pickle and sauce off a burger.

Good business etiquette.....

Quality has fallen off, portion sizes have shrunk, and instead of barbecued corn on the cob, now you get a small bowl of microwaved corn .. Even with the price it's not a good deal anymore. This was supposed to be a Club Sandwich😞15 fries is not enough.

Really disappointing experience at Chuck’s Roadhouse today. It wasn’t even busy—there were only a few tables with customers—yet the service was shockingly slow and unprofessional.

We were seated and waited over 10 minutes before anyone brought drinks. The first waitress who came by literally said, “I guess I’ll serve you until your waitress comes in.” Not exactly a warm or professional start. When our actual server finally arrived, we placed one simple order: nachos. They came out from a different server and looked like a pile of plain chips tossed on a tray with a few toppings sprinkled on top. No decent cheese coverage, barely any tomato or onion, and totally unimpressive. (Photo attached so you can see what I mean.)

Our waitress never checked in—not once—until we had to track someone down. Meanwhile, she spent about 15 minutes chatting with a guy at a table two over from us, completely ignoring the fact that we hadn’t been looked after.

It honestly felt like we were invisible. Not coming back anytime soon, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who expects basic service and quality food.

Not to me tion it was dirty. We were seated at a table that had food all on the floor. And the bathrooms were dirty and smelled very bad

Went for a late lunch. As always seems to be the case here, the burger was black on one side and well on the other. We have complained many times and same story about the kitchen. Appetizers are good, but this place has gone downhill since it opened. Cheap beer is the only reason I go there now.

I got a t bone steak. Very bad. If I wasn't hungry I would have left. So rubbery. Had a hard time cutting it with my knife. The waitress only stopped by a couple of times...we had to flag her down. My buddies steak was over done. 2nd time trying a chucks...that'll be my last. The tvs were big why I gave 2 stars

I love Chuck's house! Good drinks and pub fare in any city where they are located. This Barrie location is especially delightful.
We have been served a few times by the same waitress, which we like - consistency and familiarity.

Food was food, our server was good one we were at our table. But the staff seating us was a bit rude because we had a large party. We even called a week before, they don't take reservations so the manager said to call the day of an hour before. So I did, and after telling me they would hold the tables and let the evening staff know. When we got there, they tried telling us they didn't know if they could give us multiple tables. This is why they should take reservations for large groups. But like I said , our server was great after managing a large table, multiple bills, and a large bar order he was great. I will try again, but this isn't the place if you have a group of 10 or more.

We had an unpleasant experience at Chuck’s Roadhouse on Bayfield Street. A shorter bartender with glasses approached our table while we were still eating and handed us the bill with a rude comment: “Oh, you guys playing games?”

When we didn’t leave a tip because of his attitude, he responded by saying, “No one’s going to serve you in the future.”

His behavior was unprofessional, disrespectful, and completely uncalled for. There were four of us, and we all felt uncomfortable. We paid for our food and left quietly, but this kind of treatment should not be ignored. Management should seriously address this.
