The food was awesome, the ribs were fall off the bone and the fork , chiclen was jucey and cooked perfectly and my waitress was alittle silly thinking I wanted a pitcher of beer to myself . Who does that oh right I did vack in my 20s will be back again.

My wife and I frequent this location quite often and have noticed a new addition to the menu. "Sizzlers". They look very appetizing, similar to fajitas served on a sizzling skillet. However, I feel Chuck's has missed an opportunity with this as there is no option to add tortilla shells. Yes, this would make them fajitas, but it's a simple, low-cost option. I would have ordered this if the tortilla shells were available, but because they are not, I saved $10 and got the fail safe Chuck's Burger. The food here is great and the prices are respectable.

Terrible service was 15-20 minutes between half the tables meals, forgot a whole meal waited an additional 30 minutes for a kids burger to be brought out. Did not see our male server “Costa”for the whole meal or 15 minutes before, we sat with empty drinks for almost the whole time. Only good thing was the female server that stepped in to help. We were told our server “stepped outside for 10 minutes” but in reality we didn’t see him for the rest of the night. Asked to speak with the manager 3x and the manager never came out was busy on the phone. I don’t ever typically like to make a complaint but this was the worst service I have ever received at a restaurant.

Thanks to ignoring us for over 1/2 hour then got the order wrong, so nothing to eat while my guests ate their meals. Thanks but no thanks, will not return. Apology given but nothing else. People arrived after us, we're served and left long before our drinks even came.

Love Chucks but was very disappointed by our visit today. Went in at 1, greeted and seated immediately. We sat at a booth in the bar (table 66 according to our receipt) and waited several minutes to be greeted. Kosta finally came over and didn't even say hello just "What do you want to drink?" We ordered our food and beverages at the same time and he still hadn't returned with our drinks by the time our food came. We ended up having to ask another server to get cutlery and drinks for us. When he finally came back to collect plates, he hardly said a word just dropped the bill and left. We came to Chucks after friends recently were so impressed by the Wasaga Beach location but would not recommend to anyone this one. Food was good but the service was horrendous, considering the restaurant wasn't very full.

Danika my server is the most professional, timely, and considerate server I know. She always makes sure you are not waiting and remembers what you like. I am in sales and what we do is definitely similar. I appreciate the thoughtfullness and that she always make sure you have gotten what you need from the trip to Chuck's Roadhouse. 10 out of 10!!!!!

This location makes the franchise look bad... understaffed, cheap out on products, no bags, no communication. Cmon guys get your standards up !

Food here was alright. The bread on my sandwich was maybe a little bit stale, but not much else to complain about.

I actually really like the layout and design of the restaurant. The dining area is spacious and the wood paneling certainly gives off a vibe.

I wouldn’t write home about the service. It was middling, which could be worse.

Service itself wasn't bad but our servers hygiene was.
The steak was over cooked, dry, had a bitter taste like it was burnt and scrapped then pan seared to cover the mistake. Also seasoned only on one side.
Mashed potato was also dry, tasted like it was either pre peeled potato, powder boxed or bagged and defrosted. Easy to fix if you add a bit of butter, cream or milk.

Nachos were great. Arrival of food was timely and they were attentive to our needs.
I know for the cost I shouldn't really be concerned but it's still a dining experience.

The Roadhouse on Bayfield Street in Barrie had just enough room to accomodate our party of 24 guests. Great ambience inside as well as great food dishes! $4.25 drafts were bonus!

Not the best experience with Chucks on a slow Monday night. Our staff got together for a staff party Monday night. We are all servers and restaurant staff so we always tip good and are very understanding and empathetic. When we walked in, we had to wait at the door for our whole party to arrive(there was 35 of us lol) and we called 2 hours in advance. In our experience, we get excited when we see a large profitable party walk in. We were treated like nuisances. They didn't work to try and get tables together for us in a timely manner so we could sit instead of clogging up the front door. Servers walked around rolling their eyes at us and giving us dirty looks. Other customers came in and stood at the door as well for long periods of time before anyone made their way over to even greet them. When we finally did get sat our tables were so far apart we couldn't talk or interact with the other half of our party. We moved our tables a little closer together, and had the owner rush out and get angry with us because we did so. Even though one table was already filled with half of our party, he didn't want the remainder of our party sitting down at the other table until everyone arrived? Again, there's 35 of us, so he wanted 10 people to stand in the middle of the restaurant until more arrived? The restaurant was dead so there was ample seating around the restaurant. Once all our staff had arrived and we were just trying to get everyone sat down and comfortable. The waitress that was assigned to us was visibly annoyed to have to serve us. She was short with her answers to us, rude, rolled here eyes multiple times at us, made comments about how annoying we were to her. Our drinks took forever to even get to the table. Some of us wanted appetizers, others didn't so she was visibly rude and frustrated towards some of us who accidently wanted to order main dishes. I ordered a spinach dip with my meal and never got it. Waited for 20 minutes between drinks to make it to the table. She was not attentive to us at all, some of us needed cutlery, refills on drinks, containers, and she was nowhere to be found. The owner stood at the doorway of the kitchen staring and shaking his head at us the entire time we were there? Because a big party on a slow night at chucks is annoying to this staff apparently. Naturally everyone felt uncomfortable, to a point where we were even afraid to ask the server for anything. We had to run after a server to get our bills, after waiting 30 minutes after we asked our server. The server we managed to flag down was also annoyed and rude for us even asking. The whole atmosphere from the staff was cold and unwelcoming. Food was mediocre at best as well. Again, this party was a restaurant staff party so the rude atmosphere, unwelcoming comments and looks from the servers and the owner was very obvious to us. With 35 of us all eating and drinking, the owner should have been happy to serve us and make us feel welcome. We felt the opposite. We were all appalled how terrible the service was here. I don't even want to give 1 star on the atmosphere, food and service. Terrible first time experience for us and we won't be recommending. Do better Chucks!
