I have no idea how it managed to get so many stars. It used to be decent years ago but I was very unimpressed when I went in fall 2025.
Basic battered fish is pretty standard, but they have to be one of the worse chips I've ever had. Coleslaw was not what I expected either, basic veg cut up with vinegar and sugar. Pretty uninspired.
Don't order the fish sandwich, that is a joke, it was just battered fish slapped between in a bun with nothing else. Soggy and tasteless.
And to top it off, one of the worse pre-packaged tarter sauces I've ever had. They can't even give you decent tarter sauces for what the meal costs.

5/5 Tender and flavorful fish. Piping hot and super crispy. Fries were good and you can get “a few,” or half an order. The coleslaw was vinegar based and delicious. The tartar sauce was also special. Will come again if we have the chance. Service excellent.

$70 for dry cold fries and 3 pieces of tasteless halibut. Last time here. Halibut House is way better.
