La Isla Manila Karaoke Bar and Grill

We ordered a boodle tray + other items earlier today through doordash for pickup on La Isla Manila ( Barrie), the store accepted the order charged my payment method but when I arrived at the store, it was closed! No one bothered to answer their phone or instagram messages!

favorite ko po lomi overload nila, binabalikbalikan ko. ang babait po ng mga staff kahit mag isa lang ako, maayos parin food service nila. ❤️

It was a beautiful experience! The amazing smell of the food after opening the entrance door gives it a really heartwarming feeling. We ordered a couple of ba-ons and the flavour was top-noch. Even the chef came herself in person to greet us and asking us for feedback. We'll definitely come back! I wish I could give this place more stars. And if you are from Latin America, you will also notice the familiarity in the flavours and dishes ordered here. 👏

What a wonderful experience at La Isla!
The food was delicious! The food presentation on the plates was very impressive too! The staff and service was phenomenal! Thank you for making our first visit to your restaurant one to remember! We will definitely be back again!

If you enjoy singing, the karaoke is a lot of fun there too!

I would 100% recommend La Isla to anyone seeking authentic Filippino cuisine!

We came to Barrie with my husband and what a pleasant surprise to discover this restaurant! We ordered the boodle for two, and it was absolutely delicious — a very generous portion. The service was also excellent. Highly recommended!

Lovely restaurant. Great Filipino food — the pancit guisado and sisig were very delicious and the staff were so warm and amazing. Will definitely come back next time I’m in Barrie.

Authentic Filipino flavor, friendly accomodating staff and relax feels like at home vibes 😍 definitely coming back for more springrolls, beef soup and healthy balanced meals.

Came in craving and specifically looking for tapsilog.. I specifically mentioned it to the staff and I got everything but what gives the dish its name.. The eggs! To crave something and expect it and not get it is frustrating especially when it was communicated.

-The rice didn’t even have any garlic flavor to it nor was it even fried..
- No eggs
- The beef wasn’t cut properly it was just big squares and was too chewy
- Service and vibes was just off and felt awkward

Despite being recommended here, I’m disappointed in what I got. Next time please listen to your customers, they’ll actually tell you what they want. If you asked me how the food was after you served me it, you would have known the issue and corrected it but you didn’t check on me. It wasn’t busy, there was literally two other customers there so I’m not sure why with a staff of 4 no one had the time to check. I’m not coming back here. Some places just don’t seem to even try anymore, it’s sad

The food was amazingly delicious and authentic. We couldn’t stop raving how great the food was and we definitely overate. I loved the ambiance as well. We will definitely be back & I would highly recommend this place.
