On one visit we had pecan encrusted lamb chops, with a side of the best seasoned frites ever! May not be on the current menu, but I would recommend The North on the basis their creative presentation of their appetizers, entrees, desserts, and drinks, and the friendly servers. The atmosphere puts you at once at ease. We left the restaurant with the feeling that our experience was excellent and worth what we paid for our dining night out!

From the moment guests arrive, they are welcomed by friendly and attentive staff who provide helpful, non-intrusive service. The food is carefully prepared using high-quality ingredients that deliver bold flavors. Highlights include the Lamb, venison with risotto, and fragcois with cheese polenta, all beautifully presented and making each dish special.
Although the restaurant has been around for 17 years, it faces some challenges with accessibility and ventilation that may need attention. The interior could also benefit from some updates, as it feels slightly dated. Despite this, the value remains excellent, especially with the 7-course meat-forward tasting experience priced at just $100 per person. Desserts like crème brûlée, mini brownies, and banana cream pie provide a sweet ending, with familiar flavors presented elegantly.
Guests are encouraged to plan at least two hours for their meal, as the experience is meant to be enjoyed slowly.
